SOLD!

 Now that my house sold, I got to find out a few things behind the scenes of what was going on with the buyers. 

The guy who bought it is an investor. 

He plans to give it a face lift and make it into his office. (weird but ok) His parents live on the same street and he's never seen another house pop up for sale on it before he said, so when he was dropping his dad off that morning and he saw the "For Sale" sign, he called and made an offer right then and there before ever seeing it. 

He did eventually get to look at it and was happy with the house. 

But the other person who put in a back up bid was his competitor who DIDN'T want the other guy to get the house. (hence the reason he raised his initial offer after he found out he'd lost)

Crazy stuff. 

Either way, it's out of my hands now and the money's being put into the new home asap.
