The next series I tried which happened back in the hay day of the 90's when Batman comics were really cranking out hits.
I remember this was the next "big" story line after Knightfall but I didn't remember hardly any of it at all so I decided to give it another read.
Yuck.
Bad art, stupid story and easily the worst Batman "big story arch" to come out of the entire run. Even Cataclysm had more things for Batman and his crew to do.
In this series, Gotham is suffering from a deadly pandemic and Batman needs to find the cure. Actually, Catwoman and Azreal search for the cure, Robin gets infected and is dying while Batman, Huntress and Nightwing prance around the city with not much to do.
And the ending is terrible. You think Robin's dead but in the most anticlamatic ending ever, it turns out he was given the cure at the last minute and....healed instantly from his sickness, with little after effects.
Horrible. PASS. I'll never read this one again.
