Been reading a few comic series lately and wanted to give my thoughts on them. The first one is the series based of the video game of which I have no clue about.
But the story in the comic is interesting as Joker tricks Superman into accidently killing a pregnant Lois. Superman in turn kills the Joker which sets him down the road to become the dictator of Earth, insuring no more evil deeds happen.
Batman on the other hand is fighting for Man's Free Will and will stop at nothing to take Superman and his regime down.
Though it goes a little long the series as a whole is a pretty neat take on an alternative story set in the DC Universe. Plenty of heroes get killed off in the series and though the best part is the first 3rd of the series, after they defeat Superman, the story doesn't know where to go after that and offers little more than a few interesting scenes and heroes we've yet to see in the universe.
Is it worth your time? I think so. Especially if you're a DC fan.
