The Mission (Review)

I saw this movie years ago and remember enjoying it so I recently re-watched it to see if it was any good.

It's excellent.

Jeremy Iron, Robert De Niro and even Liam Niesson before he was famous are in this excellent film about missionaries who convert a heathen race of indians in South America and later defend them from an incoming army of frenchmen who are trying to remove them from the area by force (and even death)

The music, cinematography and acting are superb in this movie and it was way better than I remembered. One of the best movies to come out in 1986 in my opinion. If you can find it, give it a try. It's very good!
