Top 100 Board Games 2020 Predictions (20-11)

 20) King's Abbey

I love the game but my nephews may be done with it, making this one drop out of the Top 20 next year.

 19) Thrash'n Roll

I so hate the expansion to this game will never come out. I think that's going to hurt it and it'll slip out of the Top 20 this year as well.

 18) Stockpile

All this game is doing is waiting for the games ahead of it to falter in the rankings so it can move up. Superb game!

 17) Fresco

This game finally fell out of my Top 10 last year and unless I get another amazing game that includes all the expansions I don't think it'll make it back in. In fact, it could slip a little further down if all we do is play the base game again.

 16) Splendor

Excellent game. It's a shame it can't make it in the Top 10 but it's not moving out of my Top 20 in 2020.

 15) Versailles

Best rondel game on the market. I don't see it going any further but not leaving the Top 20 either.

 14) Bruges

One of Stefon Feld's finest. the only place it goes this year is up!

 13) Amerigo

Stefon Feld AT his best. This game (along with Bruges) will only move up in 2020.

 12) Long Shot

This horse racing game tries every year to crack into the Top 10. I think it has a chance this year. At best, it can move up one more spot closer to that level.

11) Space Hulk

My favorite dungeon crawl. It's always been in or around my Top 10 ever since I had one. But I made it through the entire adventure last year and at the moment am concentrating on getting Descent finished so this game will not see the table this year I'm afraid and that means it's finally going to begin to drop massively down on my list.

Top 100 Board Games 2020 Predictions (30-21)

 30) Food Chain Magnate

With a new expansion (haven't played yet) I think this game has potential to soar high this year. If it doesn't make it into the Top 20 this year, I predict it comes close.

 29) Francis Drake

My favorite pirate themed game. Not leaving my Top 30. But not moving up much either. I think it pretty much stays where it is on the list.

 28) Signorie

Man this one's hard to call! It needs more plays for me to be sure but I'm going to say it loses a few spots as a few games might jump it.

 27) Project Elite

It's March and I STILL haven't received my reprint from CMON. It's not coming till July. That, plus it being CMON my hopes aren't that high for the new version when it eventually comes out. It looks good but I'm unsure how the gameplay will be, so I'm predicting this one falls down the list this year.

 26) Raiders of the North Sea

BEST viking game on the market! With the expansions, I'm saying this game wiggles it's way up close or IN my Top 20 in 2020!

 25) Rajas of the Ganges

There's a Goodie box out that I STILL don't have! I won't it to see if it'll get this game into my Top 20. I predict though it doesn't leave my Top 30 all the same.

 24) Century (Trilogy)

I think 2020 is the year this game finally moves down a bit on my list. After years of slowly climbing. Great games but not sure if they'll see the table as much this year.

 23) Lewis and Clark

I. LOVE. THIS. GAME. Even sleeved my cards and got upgraded bits for it. I'm predicting it finally cracks into my Top 20 this year!

 22) Palaces of Carrara

Another wonderful game. But now that I know that they guy who sold it for me, gave me poor replacement parts that don't match the game and are unreplaceable I'm very bummed. This game is guaranteed to drop in 2020.

21) Stone Age

This game wants to be in my Top 20 but I don't think it ever will. If it moves down it'll only be a few spots.

Top 100 Board Games 2020 Predictions (40-31)

 40) Descent

No game got played more in 2019 than this one. But my nephews are slowly burning out on the game which means this one's going to drop a good bit this year. Really hope I can get through the rest of the adventure quests before that happens but we still have a lot more to go through before that happens.

 39) Speicherstadt

Great Stefon Feld game, I'm saying will move up my list. Want this game? It's now called Jorvik. It's cheap and worth your time to play!

 38) Firenze

Another fun fun game that'll shift a few spots lower on the list in 2020.

 37) Valparaiso

I think this game's going to move down. I hate to be so negative this year on my games but so many times they move down no matter how much I love them that I have to be honest when making these predictions.

 36) Valletta

This game needs more plays but at the moment I think it'll drop slightly on the list as new games get added.

 35) Scoville

Great pepper game with awesome strategies for victory that aren't all the same! I think this game will move down a little as well when other games get added to the list.

 34) Coimbra

I played this game a lot then shelved it. I think it deserves to be ranked higher on my list and with more plays coming this year I think it will rise in rank!

 33) Tobago

This game is one of kind and has some excellent pieces that go with it. I think it moves down a little though because I don't seeing coming to the table as much as it did last year.

 32) Merkator

My favorite Uwe Rosenburg game. I think it moves down slightly due to my sole nay-sayer in my group who pouts every time I bring it out. Though I did win by finally obtaining the "Peace Treaty" card that I previously thought was unattainable!

31) Coal Baron

Every year I wonder if this game is good enough to hang in my Top 30 and after a play I know it is. So this stays in the Top 40 this year but moves down a few spots.

Top 100 Board Games 2020 Predictions (50-41)

 50) Las Vegas

Great dice filler game! It moved down a lot last year because it didn't get played as much as previous years. But I think this yer it's making a comeback and moves back up the list!

 49) Diamond's Club

Unheard of game that I'm so lucky to have found out about. I want to play this game a little more to see what it does in the rankings for 2020. So my prediction is....it stays right around where it was last year.

 48) Crusaders: Thy Will Be Done

Awesome TMG game. Didn't get played as much as I wanted to last year, this year I hope to rectify that. If the game's still good it'll go up, if not, it drops.

 47) Catan

It made a huge drop down in 2018 and it's been in the 40's ever since but if I can get another Catan-athon with my group again this game'll move back up! If not it'll drop out of the Top 50.

 46) Flashpoint: Fire Rescue

The only thing going against this game is it's a Coop which doesn't do well in my gaming group. That being said, this one will drop once again on my list unless things change in my group.

 45) Lancaster

Lovely game that peaked when I played with the max amount of players. Ever since then I've been longing for another game like that but doubt it'll ever come. This game drops out of the Top 50 on the next list.

 44) Ceylon

GREAT game about trading Tea. I think it moves up the list since I'm predicting so many games moving down.

 43) Cleopatra and the Society of Architects

Another good game but it's getting less trips to the table which means its going to drop a few more spots on the list this year.

 42) Darjeeling

Another game that's going up against Ceylon for best "tea" themed game in my collection. At the moment it's winning but in 2020 I'm unsure whether it'll hold off Ceylon in the long run. Yet this game's got legs because we all enjoyed playing it in 2019.

41) Kingsburg

This classic dice placement game will move down a little on my list in 2020 but not by much.

Top 100 Board Games 2020 Predictions (60-51)

 60) Thebes

Great game but think it'll move down the list as it's getting played less and less over the years.

 59) Sagarada

Great expansion came out late last year. I think this'll move down a little but not much. Solid game.

 58) Ristorante Italia

Fun fun restaurant game! It bounces around on my list a lot over the years but I think this year it moves down a little on the list.

 57) Pay Dirt

2019 was a hard year for this game. It suffered a massive drop of which I don't think it'll recover. In fact, though this is a great bidding game, I think it continues to slide in 2020.

 56) Formula D

A racing game that my nephews love! In fact, one of them even put it in his Top 10 favorite games! This is also one of the oldest games to grace my collection. I think it drops a little in rank but that's all.

 55) Eketorp

Used to be my favorite viking game...then Raiders of the North Sea came around. Bad news for this game, it continues to sink in rank in 2020.

 54) Liguria

A fun prequel game to Fresco. It dropped a few spots over the years which is a trend that'll continue as new games enter the list.

 53) Parfum

Solid game by Queen. But it's getting older and gets less plays these days which mean it'll probably drop a few spots at the end of the year.

 52) Touria

Family game that surprised me last year! Not sure how it'll do this year but I'll say it stays in my Top 60 for sure.

51) Livingstone

It had a big drop in 2019 but it'll only drop a few spots in 2020 I think.
