In the 10th book in the History of Middle-Earth series, Christopher takes us back to the Silmarillion. This time for the later revisions that were made by his father.
Not much is new here, just a few changes noted from the earlier novels who talk about the same subject. The only interesting thing to note is there's a little deeper history of how the Orcs came into being and why Tolkien referred to them as Goblins in The Hobbit but later on in Lord of the Rings decided to give them a deeper history and change the race to Orcs.
Other than that, the rest of the novel was pretty stale.
