I got to see the show on streaming last month so I thought I'd give my thoughts. Overall, it's good. I can see why people love it. I wouldn't put it in my Top Ten but I did enjoy it. Maybe it was a little overblown to me, I was expecting a lot more from what others had said but in the end, it's a one and done show for me.
Of course where it really fell short was all the historical inaccuracies you regularly have with shows like this. Romancing the lead I understand but it's so far removed from the original content that even Alexander Hamilton would have a problem with it.
Maybe tomorrow I'll give more of a historical account of what I mean but for now, watch it, enjoy it but discard it as being historically accurate.
