Well I have a new job working for JP Morgan Chase now. I'm their new training manager. The job search has been long and hard this year I'm finally glad to be able to join a great company like Chase.

Is it just me or does that symbol remind anyone of the Imperial mark? Oh well...

The Twins have an amazing run to make it into the playoffs only to be knocked off by the Yankees in 3 straight. Oh well. Maybe next year fellows.

Now I just have to hope those Angels can pull it off.

So Megan had this idea of a costume for me this year. She wants me to go as Peter Pan and herself as Wendy.

Obama won the Nobel Peace Prize for 2009.

How? By being at WAR with two countries right now?!

As if this award needed to be made into more of a joke than it already is. And don't think this is just an "anti-obama" post. McCain would have made a horrible President too.

I don't harp on politics much because there's not much new to say about the subject. Obama's push on health care is a disaster and from someone who travels around the south side of Monroe constantly believe me, he's losing support from everyone.

I visited a customer's last week and he spoke Obama. He wants the President to drop the health care talk and work on the ever increasing unemployment rate. And that isn't the first person on my route to express those concerns.

So what should we do? Give him the Nobel Peace Prize.

Rockies vs Phillies

Who am I cheering for? Rockies

Who's going to win? Phillies They'll sweep.

Cardinals vs Dodgers

Who am I cheering for? Dodgers. (Mets fans never cheer for the Cardinals)

Who's going to win? Dodgers This one may go the distance but I'm betting 4 and it's over.

Angels vs Red Sox

Who am I cheering for? Angels

Who's going to win? Red Sox It goes 4 games with the Angels taking only one.

Yankees vs Twins

Who am I cheering for? Twins

Who's going to win? Yankees They'll sweep.

Why is the Yankees logo not on my site? Because it's illegal for a Mets fan to post anything that has to do with the Yankees.

If I love baseball and care anything about the sport I would never show such a pic!

Twins Win

For those of you who don't care much for baseball. You missed a whopper of a game tonight. Last game of the season. Ending a tie-breaker between the Tigers and the Twins.

This was an extra game to determine who would advance to the playoffs. It took 12 innings to find that out but it was the Twins who turned out to be the winners.

I know I have Detroit fans who read the blog and to you I say this: "I'll feel your pain."

In fact, I can say, "I've felt your pain" The 2 prior seasons of baseball had the Mets ONE game away from making the playoffs only to blow it in the end. I hurt so bad I couldn't even watch the World Series that year.

But at least you got this far right Detroit? Unlike the Mets you can still say "We'll do it next year"

As Auburn rolls over Tenn this weekend for a 5 and 0 start for the season, I can't help thinking that this was it.

Our high point in the season.

Can we beat Arkansas next week? I have my first serious doubts about Auburn in that one. And what of the weeks following?

What's worse is my ESPN College Pick'ems didn't lock in for this week. (though I have Spencer as a witness that they did) So now I'm out of that tournament as well.

Eh, I just care about Auburn bringing in the "W" anyway. What do I care.
