Peyton Churchwell is a University of Louisiana-Monroe
alumni, graduating with a Bachelors
in English Education. His ULM VAPA Performance credits
include Ubaldo Piangi in Phantom
of the Opera, Captain Venderdender in Candide, and Hugo
Peabody in Bye Bye, Birdie. His
Strauss Theatre credits include Ensemble/Chorus member in
Mamma Mia and Mr. Bumble in
Oliver! The Musical. He has also performed at the Rose Theatre
in many plays, including
Wilson in Whose Wives are They Anyway?, and he just recently
performed as Macduff in CA
Studio’s Zoom production of Shakespeare’s Macbeth.
Director’s Note: I first saw Payton in “Who Wives are they
Anyway?” and his role as the bellhop was hilarious. I later had the pleasure of
working with him for “How to Succeed” and am excited that he’s a past of this
show as well.
