Top Board Games 2020 Overview (#220-211)

2020 #220 2019 #169 2018 #98

Really cool game that doesn't hit the table as much, hence the reason it continues to drop and will do so once again this year.

2020 #219 2019 #162

Wildly enough, if it wasn't for Touria in my collection I think this would rank higher. A fantastic looking game that for some unexplained reason comes with serious AP though I believe it to be a simple game. It suffered an ugly 57 spot drop and I think it'll drop again when I put together the list at the end of the year.

2020 #218 2019 #151

Ouch! Dropping 67 spots doesn't bode well for this game. I love it but it is a little repetitive after a few rounds. The theme is solid though, so I'm keeping it in my collection though I doubt it ever moves into the Top 200 ever again.

2020 #217 2019 #157

Not a good game for 2 players which I think it why it dropped so much last year. Still one of the best games I've purchased from Target.

2020 #216 2019 #164 2018 #119

Simple beautiful looking game that is a little too light to be considered a serious contender on my list. For the 2nd hand price though I think everyone should get it. SO worth the price. New games will further bury this one on the list.

2020 #215 2019 #174 2018 #107

One of the most gorgeous games I own. A game about the 3 Little Pigs is definitely over produced but its good. However, this poor game can't seem to catch a break and other games rank higher due to getting to the table more often.  Though it fell 41 spots from the last list, I'm afraid to say that trend will continue this year.

2020 #214 2019 #175 2018 #111

Shocked this one fell so far on my list this year. It gets played all the time! But again, I don't look over my list from the year before until after I rank them. Can't explain the reason for the drop, maybe new games coming in? If I'm right, then I predict it'll fall again this year.

2020 #213 2019 #190

This game has a hard time moving up a list that's constantly adding newer games to it but it didn't fall as far as other games and I have a feeling it'll fall even less this year.

2020 #212 2019 #191

I know I called this an overrated game but that doesn't mean I don't enjoy it. Believe it or not it really help it's ground last year against so many other games trying to knock it down. I think I'll say the same as I did earlier that this ones fall slows down even more in 2021.

2020 #211 2019 #150

I love this simple auction game but I believe the simplicity will continue to be the reason it drops on my list once again this year.

Top Board Games 2020 Overview (#230-221)

2020 #230

Someone in my gaming group told me this was one of her favorite games in my collection. It's easy to learn and fun to play. I have to admit, she's right but the simplicity of it I don't think will move it up much if any on my list. Though the fun factor will surely keep it in my collection for years to come.

2020 #229 2019 #180 2018 #116 2017 #65

This dungeon crawl will continue to drop until I pick it up once again to play. It looks beautiful and it's spinoff Tailfeathers will be included in the replay when I finally get around to it. But when that'll be doesn't look like this year. So this one continues to fall on my list this year.

2020 #228

New game in 2020 I'm afraid more additions to my collection will forbid it from moving up on my list. I do enjoy the game though.

2020 #227

Another new Queen Game in my collection but for kids which means it won't come out much in 2021. I predict it falls on the list for that reason.

2020 #226

Hard to say. I think new game will push it down but I love not only the look buy the gameplay here. If it gets to the table enough, it may not slip too hard on the list.

2020 #225 2019 #182 2018 #109 2017 #78 2016 #27

When I played the app on my iPad, this game was ranked high. But when I stopped playing 3 years ago, the board game also suffered on my list. It's a real time game that's great with 4 players. AND I played it earlier this year and got the "W" each time we played! However, the trend will continue for this game as it'll drop once again this year on the list.

2020 #224 2019 #179

I don't see this game ever moving up on my list but I'm keeping it because I like the theme and there's some good strategy in it to boot. But it rarely comes to the table at all so it'll continue to sink on my list.

2020 #223 2019 #163 2018 #102 2017 #70

I love the theme and it's a Queen Game but just like before, it barely comes out that much anymore since my collection has grown. I'm keeping it around because its a good one but I think it'll drop some more in 2021.

2020 #222

New filler game added to my collection that I'm keeping for now. I think it'll move down in 2021 but I'm curious to see how many plays it'll get this year. That will be the deciding factor.

2020 #221 2019 #106 2018 #103
Fun game. Amazing theme. But it only comes out around St Patty's Day (which is fitting) Other than that, it doesn't come out that much. I think new games added will push it down the list come the end of the year.

Top Board Games 2020 Overview (#240-231)

2020 #240

Like I said in my video, this game didn't get played after my review but I do think it'll climb a little on the list in 2021.

2020 #239

Another new game that'll soar up my list once my girls get older. Just recently played it with my niece and she loved it. It's the perfect game for kids. But I don't think I'll get it to the table anytime else this year, so I'm saying this drops as I add new games to the list.

2020 #238 2019 #186 2018 #118

If only the Mrs loved this game. It's a fun one but without her interest it's doomed to continue to fall on my list once again in 2021 after dropping 52 spots the year before.

2020 #237 2019 #193

This Queen game dropped 44 spots from the year before, it's the least played Queen Game in my collection. But it IS good. I just don't bring it to the table as often. I will say this. I don't think it falls as bad in 2021. Only to make way for newer games coming on to the list.

2020 #236

A new game that was added but is so hard to play without folks teaming up to eliminate players from the game. I love the look of this game but it'll fall as many spots as I get newer games added to my list.

2020 #235 2019 #184 2018 #120

Yep, it dropped 51 spots last year but it's also the only Monopoly game I own so it has that going for it. It fast and fun but I also think the drop will continue as new games are added to my list this year.

2020 #234 2019 #183 2018 #118

Very thematic game that just can't find a way to swim up my list. New additions keep pushing it down. It's got great pieces and it fun but I suppose a little repetitive at times which is why I think it'll continue to drop in 2021.

2020 #233 2019 #170 2018 #106

Great filler game but it's not coming to the table much at all these days. I'm putting it up for trade this year, it'll probably move from my list before the next ranking.

2020 #232

Fast, fun game I added last year,  but I don't think it moves up the list. New games will be keeping it down.

2020 #231 2019 #181

Another great filler game with a unique theme. Sad news is there are higher filler games on my list so this will rarely come out. Putting it up for trade this year. It probably drops from my list in 2021.

Top Board Games 2020 Overview (#248-241)

It's time to review my list from last year and make a few predictions so here we go!

2020 #248 2019 #125 2018 #91

This one's a far cry from ever getting into my Top 200 ever again but my nephews even told me this is one of their favorite games as well so I believe it will rise a little next year. At least it won't be my bottom ranked game for 2021.
2020 #247 2019 #128 2018 #97

Another game that's ok, but with my nephews interest gone, I think I'll put it up for trade this year and see what I can get. For this reason, I say it falls on my list.
2020 #246

Newest game to my list and the lowest. I do enjoy it but it's a hard one to get to the table. Not sure I'll keep it around in my collection in 2021.
2020 #245

Another new game I got last year but until the girls get old enough to play it, I think it'll drop again on the list this year.
2020 #244 2019 #199 2018 #131 2017 #74 2016 #49

I hate party game but keep this one around just in case that's the only thing I can get to the table. But it hasn't been played in 3 years so I may be up to giving it away if the chance arises. For that reason, it'll drop more in 2021
2020 #243 2019 #196 2018 #105 2017 #83

Though a fun game this one dropped like a rock last year, 47 spots from the year prior. I don't see it moving back up the list either. It's a fun game but at this point I'm willing to consider a trade.

2020 #242 2019 #202 2018 #122 2017 #94

I feel bad for this game. It's great but so simple it keeps dropping every time I add a game to my collection. It qualifies for the Vintage list in 3 more years, when I'm sure it'll make it higher in the rankings. But in 2021 new games will continue to push this game down.

2020 #241 2019 #177 2018 #99

A great 2 player game but since it's 2 players, I rarely get to play it. So I gave it away to someone who will get it to the table more. It's off the list going forward.

Lysol Wipes

Ever since the pandemic these have been the hardest things to find on the market. I'd get one every 6 months or do to help clean the bathrooms with but not since last March have I seen any for sale because morons think this cures COVID.

Well today was my lucky day. A shipment came in and as they we putting them on the shelves I snagged one. (our last can was used sparingly and is almost out)

Really stupid people hoard this product now.

WHAT IS FREEDOM - A MESSAGE TO US ALL

5 Ewoks Products I want (but will never get)

It's no secret, I love me some Ewoks! So here's a few items I wouldn't mind having if I had the money to waste on them.

When my girls get old enough to play with play dough (without eating it) this would be a great set to play with them!
A talking phone!! Man, if it didn't cost so much on Ebay, I'd have owned one by now. LOVE IT.
The one play set I wanted the most from Kenner but never got. I have to admit, if I found this and a few ewoks for sale at a decent price, I'd have a hard time NOT pulling the trigger on it!

I already have one, but I'd LOVE another. I swear, even if it were only $100 I'd do it. LOVE the one I have but these things are crazy expensive online. No way I'm scoring another.

Have a good weekend folks!

SCTV - Monster Chiller Horror Theater: Madame Blitzman (GREAT STUFF!)

Happy to see Republicans condone the actions at the Capital yesterday.

Sad to see not a single Democrat condone the violent and destructive riots by antifa.

The Phenom (Review)

I love baseball movies. And when I heard about a story of a pitcher for the Braves who suffers in his performance and is sent back to the minors I was intrigued.

It sucked.

They didn't even have the rights to MLB so it really just doesn't show him in a Braves uniform and you can tell after a few minutes in that the film has the budget of a college fan film.

Its boring, awful and pointless to watch. A complete waste of time.

The Whopper Play Dough Set

Do you remember this old play set from back in the day? We never had one but I remember going over to a friends house who did and it was awesome. As you pressed the ingredients it felt like you were pressing them over a hot grill. Really cool playset!

12th Day of Christmas

Now as the official last day of Christmas is upon us, I'd say all things considering it was a good one for me. Hope you had one too!

(Now I've got to pack all the decorations up tomorrow....another 4 hour chore!)

Antifa

Thugs, criminals, vandals and hate filled sociopaths.

Why aren't States cracking down on these despicable people?

How much more evidence do they need?

California has some of the strictest lockdowns and masks mandates of any state....and they have this highest case of COVID per captia.

Seriously, what's it going to take for people to understand lockdowns and masks aren't working?

Election Fraud

Remember 4 years ago when TV stations were calling "fraud" for the elections without evidence? 4 years later we now have evidence from our last election and no one wants to talk about it now....

2021 Resolutions

Not much for this year since everything's still up in the air for the country but I will say:

A) A return to normal

B) Print a copy of Tales from the Galaxy Vol. 4

Here's to hoping at least the first one comes true!

2020 New Year's Resolutions in review

All things considering I really achieved just about everything I wanted to this past year. The only exception was getting Tales of the Galaxy Vol. 4 printed and I tried that it just wasn't taking the cover design so I had to shelve the project and never made the time to get back to it.

But again, all in all, I did pretty good considering what happened.

The Double Standard

I love how when a conservative person gets COVID people say it's their own fault for not wearing a mask, but when a Liberal gets it they blame conservatives for not wearing a masks.....so, to sum it up, it's conservatives fault people get COVID.

Got it. Right. Moving on.

Anti-Masks Laws

What's this?! States have had Anti-masks laws for decades yet most of them aren't enforcing them during the pandemic. I think it's still interesting to know which states have them. Check it out!

The states with anti-mask laws in the U.S. are:

Mandatory vaccinations coming soon.

Get ready for it because it's going to happen. Of course I'm against it but will get one if it means I get to return to work.

Still doesn't make it right.

Happy New Year!

 C'mon 2021! I'm rooting for you!

Happy New Year everyone!

What a deal

While shopping at Sams we saw this and decided to get a bottle. I don't drink but Ryan Reynold's commercials about it are so funny Megan and I decided to get one.

But when I picked up a box of what I thought had one, actually had 6! It was a crate! We didn't know and neither did Sams! LOL

We were only charged $27 for the case. That's the good news. Bad news, is who's going to drink it?
