I finally read the last Firefly book to come out and sadly it's the worst of the bunch. I've read Tim Lebbon before and I hate his first person plural style.
It's choppy and distracts from the overall story....which isn't much in this case. The story is, long, drawn out and boring. The characters don't feel like they're from the TV series and the humor falls flat.
It's sad because the prior books did a much better job and I had such high hopes for this book to follow the previous ones but it's easily the worst of the 4 at the moment.
Hopefully, they'll make more so that the novels don't end on such a sour note.
