2 teans that no major media outlet picked to be in the World Series get in and have a knock down drag out 7 Game Series that came down to the last out. History won't have this series at the top but it should be in someone's top 20.
If the Royals could've taken Bumgarner deep in the 9th to win the game, I think it would've been in the Top 5.
But Tim Hudson gets a well deserved ring and we can all be happy for him. Royals should walk away from this with the heads held high. They had a great series but it just wasn't yet there time. So as KC fans cry into their BBQ this week San Francisco will be resting after partying all night and into the mid-morning.
Now I can't wait to get my hopes dashed by the Mets again next year!
