Siurvivor Blood vs Water Cast

The cast list is out! Let's talk about the pics!

Aras Baskauskas: Survivor Panama.

I'm shocked by this. Last I heard from this Yoga Guru/Survivor Winner was that he was not returning to the game because he had a company to run. But I guess when you let him bring along another family member he caved in to the request. Not for himself, but for whoever in his family wanted to go. He's a good guy. It'll be interesting how he's going to play the game this time around.

Colton Cumbie: Survivor One World

My wife's most hated person to play the game returns and it shouldn't be a surprise for anyone. I'm just shocked he wasn't asked back for last season. He'll be a big threat once again this year and will probably go far. He's bringing his boyfriend with him so it should be interesting to see if he's as big a bully as Colton is.

 Gervase Peterson: Survivor Borneo

WHAAAAAAAT?! Another shocker for me. They brought back someone from season 1?! WOW. Though the only memorable thing he did was gag over eating a worm, Gervase is coming back with his nephew to play the game. But a lot has changed with the game since he played. Let's see if he's able to keep up the new style of play this season. I'm doubtful to say the least.

Kat Edorsson: Survivor One World

Dumb and Dumber is back! Rumor has it, the only reason she was asked back was so she could bring her boyfriend Hayden Moss into the game. Hayden was a guy who won Big Brother one year. I didn't watch the show but I heard he was a favorite. My bet is he'll be eaten alive when it comes to Survivor.
Laura Morett: Survivor Samoa

Do ask me. She was a no name player during Russell's first appearance. She did nothing interesting in the game and I'm guessing the only reason she's back is because the production team has a hard time of finding interesting woman that were past players who fans remember. Who cares about her. Moving on!

Monica Culpepper: Survivor One World

Monica is the 3rd contestant from One World and the only reason they  brought her back is for her football playing husband Brad. In fact, that's really the only thing memorable about Monica on the show. CBS hyped it every episode she was featured in almost. They crave to get an NFL crowd of folks watching it so it makes sense to bring her and her husband in to play the game. My guess is they blindside her husband then take her out in the following tribal council.

RC Saint-Amour: Survivor: Phillippines

Not a surprise either is RC coming back to play again. It's obvious she was a favorite of the producers but is she good enough to go to the end? That's still left to be determined.

 Rupert Boneham: Survivor Pearl Islands

When Rupert was first on the show. I loved him. In All-Stars he embarrassed himself by showing the world what an idiot he could be and in Heroes vs Villains I hated him. Rupert should have never come back the last two times because I would've been excited to see he and his wife coming back to play the show instead I'm rolling my eyes and hoping he gets voted out first. In Pearl Islands the pirate theme fit him. But in Survivor as a whole, he's not cut out for it.

 Tina Wesson: Survivor Austailia

Another shocker for him. According to all previous reports, she was done with the game and to be honest, seeing how she bombed in All-Stars I didn't blame her. Without Colby's coat tails to ride, Tina and her husband should expect another early exit from the game.

Tyson Apostol: Survivor Tocantis

I've got to be honest, I love this guy. He's exactly what I would be playing this game. Funny and mean spirited. I was sorry to see his early exit from the game in Heroes vs Villains but I'm glad the producers are giving him a second chance. Hopefully he and his girlfriend will make it far in the game. He's one of the most interesting characters to watch!

Ok, so that about does it! I'll talk tomorrow about the folks they missed out on and why.

You suck :-)

Rupert is awesome. He ran for governor here, and gives an absolute ton to charity. I met him at a 4th of July parade in my hometown and he literally could not have been nicer. Stayed for pics, answered questions, etc. I know that doesn't qualify him for Survivor necessarily, but that guy is a fantastic human being, and super fun to watch. I can't wait. Colton, on the other hand, may singlehandedly keep Lacey and I from watching the show. I really don't think we can stomach it.

How are they doing this with the partner thing and rules/voting/winner?
