Early bird

Posting a little early today because I don't know when I'll be back from court. Yeah, the lady that hit my car last year didn't have a Driver's License OR insurance. Beautiful eh?

Just a friendly reminder to all you Cardco Fans. NEVER get that internet phone service they advertise. Trust me, I haven't been able to use my phone for days.

Rocky and Bullwinkle!! That's wear the "Fractured Fairy Tales" comes from. (thanks Heather) I knew it was from some famous cartoon I just couldn't remember which.

Don't worry Cardco Fans, there's much more coming you way after this. Have a great weekend!

Mr Von-crouzier

Well, I just found out yesterday was St Patty's Day. Gee, and I didn't post anything to reference it on the site. Ok, I forgot. Time has no meaning in my apartment here.

Maybe that's the reason I still think The Lion King is out in theaters..... hmmm, I need a life.

The way you move

Remember those "Fractured Fairy Tales" cartoon that used to come on? You know, there'd be that old fairy godmother with the star shaped wand flying around this huge book that would eventually close in around her, trapping her within the pages of the book?

Well last week while driving up to my grandmothers I realized we never were told the truth about those nursery tales of old. So I thought I'd take the rest of this week to shed some light on a few of those stories. I hope you enjoy.

..that my momma gave me.

End of comic strip one. If you didn't get it don't worry, I didn't either.
Tomorrow's should be fun too. I like the idea and may use it again in the future, we'll have to see.

I'd also like to take a timeout for a few more of our fans that just found the blog.

Welcome!

Now sit down, shut up and start sending me some cash!!

Hooked on a feeling..

To answer a few of your questions on this series I'll sum it up in 3 points.

1. Yes, this is how I dance.
2. No, Star Search hasn't called yet.
3. I'd rather be watching StrongBad too.

Ready to G-O

Hello Cardco Fans!

Did everybody behave while we were gone? We hope so! Well, after 3 days of catching up reading and one day being so sick I thought the microwave was my Mom, I'm ready to start again tomorrow with the new strip. Should be fun stuff. It'll feature a double header as we'll be posting 2 comic strips to make up for last weeks action.

PS- I read the post this week, thanks for the love.

Last minute plans

Ok Cardco Fans, we regret to inform you that we won't be posting any this week. I'll actually be up visiting my grandmother in Alabama. I just now decided this.

But we'll be back and in full effect when we return! Have no doubt about that! With DOUBLE the amount of comic strips plus many, many extras to be sure! So don't miss it!

One last thing before I go, thanks again for the e-mails, phone calls, and an actually FAN MAIL addressed to Cardco Comix. (I'm going to post a pic of it on the site you can rest assured)

Also thank you to all my friends in other parts the world for tuning in, UK,(I'm glad you enjoyed the comic, can't wait till you're back in the states) Ireland,(you're St Patty's Day must be the bomb) New York (yes you're a foreign country to me) and Canada. (NO I will not be translating my strips into french!)

Of course thank you for those good ole US of A people for your support too. You're SO getting a free t-shirt out of this someday, I know it!

Have a great week Cardco Fans!

A book a day...

Boy, I've been getting some major reading done here lately. I've been able to sit down and actually read a book a day. (now I know how my cousin Thomas feels) I still don't know how is was able to do that EVERY time we went on a family vacation but he did. It was amazing to watch and I never thought I could do it myself until this week.

Ahhhh... in one word... satisfying. Hey Tony, it looks like I'll even be getting around to those Salvatore books I bought 2 years ago from your advice!

Ok Cardco Fans, I'm done for the weekend, this is just my weekend ramblings I've decided to give you from time to time. I know, boring aren't they? But then again... what blog DOESN'T have it's boring moments? I mean.... has anyone even READ Jeremy's blog? ! j\k

The Oracle Abides

Well, I knew he'd be leaving one day. I never thought it'd be so soon. For those who don't know who this guy is, let me tell you.

The Oracle works at our local bookstore here called Waldon Books. He was given the nickname because, well... he IS the Oracle. The man knows the what, where and about, of every book in the store. His knowledge is stunning to say the least.

Hmmmm.... say, maybe a comic strip would better further your idea of him? What do ya say fans?
