I remember using metal washers or other metal "coins" to try and fool the Coke machines back in the day. I'd heard of it working for other kids but no matter how many times I tried it, it never worked.
Sucks because that would've been cool to see how it works, but I guess by the late 80's/Early 90's they'd figured out how to stop it from happening.
Thus my life of crime was never meant to be it seems!
