My church still does this and the very few times I've been able to go I've enjoyed it.
It'll be a while before I'll go out again. Kids have to get a little older for that to happen. But it is fun to see people inside their homes enjoy the music and then have a hot coco/cider and cookie after party once you're done.
One day I'll be doing with my kids and I'm sure it'll be memorable.
