Tomorrow is it. The big day where you will see the video that has one of the MOST QUOTED lines used off stage during the play but only said for ONE performance!

The line? "Speed is here!"

Something I said at the very very practice that had everyone laughing since day one. They tried getting me to say it later on during shows but I just couldn't bring myself to do it. Finally, in our last performance as you see here, I get the courage to go for it!

Wait and see.... wait and see....

Boy what a busy week! I sure am glad the weekend's here so I can finally relax. Got a lot of work that needs to be done as well.

Next week begins the last (and possibly the best) of the Oscar and Felix videos. After that, the comic strips will return. (I promise)

Howdy folks! What a week huh? They’ve been keeping me real busy at work lately! I stayed up till midnight last night trying to get some work done!

But I can’t complain. I do have some HILARIOUS comic strips waiting for ya’ll over the next few weeks. Seriously, I think I’ll have to retire after these come out. I’m still chuckling about them now!

I’m so glad you’re all enjoying the videos. I’ll have the last (and best) of them to show you next week. I’m sure you’re going to enjoy them as well.

What a week so far eh? With this cough it’s made it even harder to do my job around here. (and the nights have not been too king either) But I’m feeling better today so maybe I’m on the up and up. Who knows?

Of course after the snap shot was taken I was asked to exit the ring immediatly and take my seat for the show.

Ok, so here is where we talk about Valentine's Day on our blogs right? And for everyone who's single it's almost mandantory that you have the talk bad about this holiday to make yourself feel better. But really what you end up doing is hoping some will have pity on you and put up comments like "But I love you!" or "I feel your pain!"

I have to admit, I was thinking about doing the same thing, but a few days ago I changed my mind. I mean, is it really necessary to bash this holiday anymore? So I say "Who cares!?" Go out tonight with your friends. Have some fun!

My old roommates Bruce and Roger used to throw a "Singles" party every year at this time and it was always fun! (some of my best memories around this time)

I know I'm seeing the world through rose colored glasses here, but I'm going enjoy the holiday for a change. Sure I'm still claiming single status here, but if there was someone I cared about out there and I wanted to say somthing to her on V-Day it'd probably sound all "smoopy" like this: "I love you very much my dear, and wish we could spend the entire day together!"

By the way... "smoopy" means "lovey dovey" it's my word... I made it up..... yeah...

So to everyone out there, (we singles included) have a Happy Valentine's Day!

I'm so glad everyone's enjoying the video posts! I really should start making more of them in the future!

Well, things are still going well with me! I've been able to relax a little this weekend and even had a chance to stop and smell the roses every once in a while. It was nice.

Well, today is my brother Caleb's birthday so I'm going to be running errands all day then going to see him tonight.

3 things.

First, I heard the video wasn't loading all of the time so for saftey's sake I posted it on YouTube last night. It should work there if you have any problems looking it up on the blog.

Second, a few of you have expressed concerns about the tornados that have been passing thru the south. Thanks for your thoughts but we're alright. Nothing ever came thru Louisiana.

And lastly... SURVIVOR starts tonight!!! So don't miss it!

Good news and bad news. I checked the tapes and it’s not pretty. Just about the whole first scene is destroyed on the tape. I do think I can salvage a little of it at the end but for the most part that section of the tape is ruined.

Good news is everything else looked to be ok so I’ll try downloading it on the computer tonight and to get things ready for next week! Oh boy am I excited! C-ya tomorrow!

After a lot of searching I finally found a camcorder yesterday! I'll try hooking it up today and seeing if I can salvage that tape!!

If so, I'll make next week an "Oscar and Felix" week for sure. With nothing but pictures and video posts all week long!

Cross your fingers folks.... here goes....

Hold on folks! I may be buying a new camcorder this week and if so that means I can still salvage the tape of my performance. (I needed a new video camera anyway)

This also means I'll be able to start making more video posts on the blog as well. (something I've been wanting to do for quite sometime now)

A sad tale to tell

Our final performance went great. We have a sell out crowd. My camcorder was their to capture all the magic… and it died.

Charity tried breathing life into it and actually recorded our scenes. But when I brought it back home to transfer to my computer…. it died.

Ho sad that we will never see these videos. But I do have pictures I will posting through out the week instead.

I’m taking a hammer to my camera in the morning. It deserves a quick and painful death.

On the flip side, we are not with the PCA anymore. Our church has left the denomination that weaves a Webb of deceit and has moved on. It’s better this way.

Ok, just so we’re clear: No comic strip this week. Just the pics! Have a great week everybody!

Ok, we’re going to play a little game today.

In the play I make a call from a cell phone to the hospital in search of a doctor. Now the cool thing is I can call anyone I want during the play.

So, the person who makes the most posts today before I leave to the theater will get to be the lucky person I call onstage DURING the show!!

If I don’t have your phone number and you end up being the one who wins, just e-mail it to me and I’ll call you up.

Post must a least be a few words and I’d love it if they meant something too. Just think, one of you will get to join me onstage tonight, How fun! I can’t wait to see who it is!

This weekend is looking to be fantastic! I woke up early yesterday and made an impromptu visit to radio station K104 to do an interview. (Thank you Toby and John for letting me on the air without any notice!) I had a blast!

Momma Says!

Here are some more great Footloose pics of me singing my song "Momma Says" Of course this is one of my favorite scenes because the song is so funny and the guys I was with were so great! I hope everyone's weekend went well.

I was so tired last night I went to bed at 9 and didn't wake up till now! Whew! Feels like I've been asleep for a month!

The play's going real well! We've gotten some pretty big crowds every night! For those of you still wondering about tickets, they still have seats open for next weekend, but I would go get them now since these shows tend to sell out quick on the last weekend.

I should also have some pictures from the play in the next few weeks. I don't know about you folks, but this has been another fantastic week!

More Footloose Photos!

I just can't help it! Photo's are so much fun to post up that I think I may start doing it twice a week now.

The first one is me in my first scene which all of you probably saw the video to. But the next ones was from footage I never posted. This was the "Gym" scene and as you can see, I like snazzy in shorts! This was the big number before "Intermission" and it was a really good one too!

Finally got some sleep today. Say, these weekend posts are becoming more frequent aren't they? I slept till 10, woke up, had breakfast with my brother and some friends and now am about to make a trip up to the mall, before I have to go in for another night at the theater!

We had a packed house last night and it was really exciting. They're expecting the same for tonight. Geez, if it wasn't for the 2 radio talk show hosts that are in it I could be taking all the credit for this one... sadly, I can't.

Footloose Photo Fridays!

At long last, here we are! It's going on for at least the next few weeks I'll be posting up old photos from the Footloose show.

As for the play I'm in right now "Oscar and Felix" (the Odd Couple) it's going along great! We've had two excellent shows back to back and this weekend looks to be just as exciting! This is the funniest play I've ever done. We were laughing so hard after Thursday nights show I thought we'd be heard off stage!!

I really enjoy my cast and will be posting pics from that show in the next few weeks as well. I will have some video footage of it after it's over for anyone who couldn't come see it. But until then you'll just have to hear about it from me.

So I just took my monthly jaunt around the blog ring and I have to say… BOR-RING! Sure some people had really good blogs with important things to say but where’s the freshness? The excitement? The “more than once a month” post that we all look forward to?

I really had no idea what to do when I first opened up this blog. What would I post about? What about this would make it interesting enough for anyone to read? I thought you had to post frequently of the blog would shut down. I think I post more than anyone else I know?!

But have I ever had a blog with “deep thoughts” in it? Nope. Am I on a mission to send some sort of message for people reading my blog? Um… nope. Then what am I doing this for?

Fun.

I think a lot of us forget that. People like to see comments on their blog. To tell them how many people are reacting to what they said. But not me! Whether I get 17 comments or 2 that week I still keep on truckin! So for those of you out there who think nobody cares because nobody ever post a comment on your blog, I say “Hooey!” Keep pumping them post out whether they like it or not!

Another weekend post

Guess I just feel generous right now and decided to make yet another weekend post. With all the crazy holidays being over it's good to finally be able to relax a little isn't it?

Happy 2008!!

The new year is finally upon us Cardco fans! And I'm so glad to annouce the changes you will see on the blog for 2008.

First off, no more YouTube! I hate those people and now they've made it simply impossible for me to work with. My videos never post and now they won't even let me log on to my own account. So from here on out I'm done with them!

If ever I post a video it will be for this blog or my poorly ignored web site that I haven't touched in months. DOWN WITH YOUTUBE!!!

I annouced the digital camera already so you already know of my plan for more picture posts on the blog. I find myself enjoying those the most on other peoples blogs so I plan to give you more of that in 2008.

And finally, the comic strips. We've got some funny ones in store with you. I'm even coming up with more ideas as I speak and I know you're going to enjoy them all!

Here's to ya'll, Happy New Year everyone! I hope your celebration is as joyous as mine!
