Pep Talk 2 Posted by Hello

Let's get Pos!!

You know, it's getting toward the end of the week, but already I'm feeling chipper! Bring on the weekend! I'm ready for it!

By the way, I don't recommend anyone printing these out and posting them up in your work place for motovation.

If you want that..... get some Red Bull.

Works for me!

Peppy

This week's strip is based off a true story that happened a few weeks around the office. See, they brought in this motovational speaker to talk to us about sales.

This first part is just about word for word on what happened. None of it is made up. (which is why I decided this would be an excellent strip to put on here)

Enjoy!

Weezer Rocks!!! Posted by Hello

Introducing....

Ladies and Gentlemen,

We interrupt our regular post for a very important announcement...

WEEZER ROCKS!!

As few of you know, I'm a huge Weezer fan so (like everybody should have been doing today) I went out and bought their new album. Fantastic!! Highly recomended for children 12 and up!

Ok,.... maybe 16 and up.... I don't care.

Cheap Cop out

Here ya go folks! The #1 person who should be guest star appearing in Star Wars Episode 3!

Kinda makes you wonder why I even went thru with this eh?

Monday, May 09, 2005

Almost there...

So I'm at this Cinco de Mayo party last week and what should appear on the walls but an un-authorized copy of my "Cinco de Mayo" comic strip.

Cardco Comix has decided not to taken action in a lawsuit but will require some compensation be paid within the next 3 months.

I kid.

Thanks.

Now on to the tippy-top Ten!

4)Christopher Walken (Envy) It wouldn't be a party without him saying ANYTHING about Darth Vader being bad and exactly how bad he was being.

3) Steve Buscemi (Con Air) No movie no matter how far fetched is hollow without an appearance from this man. He's been in virtually everything else, why not put him in this one as well.

2) Bruce Campbell (Army of Darkness) Ok, this one was a little TOO obvious. A lot of you people guessed it but he wasn't our number 1. It would be cool to hear him tell Vader to "Come get some" I have to admit.

Tomorrow's the big day, who will be revealed as the #1 person how should guest star in Episode 3??? Find out tomorrow....

Mid Ten

Wow.

You've been sending and calling in your guess's to me ever since I first posted this. Thanks fans.

But while some of you got a few of them right none of you guessed them all. So to solve another piece of the puzzle for you fans, here's the next 3 on our list.

7) Bill Paxton (Aliens) Nothing would look better on the screen then to here Bill Paxton freaking out and saying "You mean to tell me that Anakin Skywalker went to the Dark Side and wants to KILL us all???!!....... We'll that's just GREAT man!!!" It would be the best quote in the movie by far.

6) Owen Wilson (Zoolander) I can see him now, "Come on man, do you really wanna kill us all??" Then finishing off with one of his classic "sighs" and a shake of his head. (Lucas WISHES he could make us laugh this hard!!)

5) David Spade (Just Shoot Me) Jeremy got this one right I know. He'd HAVE to be in here just to say his catch phrase "And your..... Vader... riiiiiight...."

4 more to go and since you fans have only been able to guess one of them so far I'm expecting you to be pleasantly suprised to find out who's in the top 4..... next week.

Top 10

So in two weeks, the movie to end all movies comes out.

Star Wars Episode 3 "Revenge of the Sith"

I hope you're like me and picked up your tickets for the midnight showing weeks ago.

I went up to the counter and when was asked which showing I'd like (the 12:05 or the 12:10) I easily responded with "The first viewing possible!!"

12:05

I can't go to the 12:10

That one starts 5 minutes too late.

I've already asked work for the day off as well.

But today (and over the next few weeks) I'm going to be running down a list of hollywood actors that should have appeared in the final film as guest star appearances as Jedi and what their role would have been in the movie.

Today we'll tackle the bottom 3.

(no pics, sorry about that but they wouldn't laod)

10) Ed Norton- (Fight Club) Wonderful actor, one of my favorites, I'm sure his line to Vader would have been "I want you to hit me as hard as you can!"

9) Johnny Depp- (Pirates of the Carribean) Nothing beats a Johnny Depp performance and since Lucas is the director, this would be Depp's most challeging role. To act well under someone who even makes Ewan McGregor come off flat.

8) Jackie Chan- (Around the World in 80 Day) He's the man, what more can I say. I'd love to see this man in Episode 3. Unfortunantly I'm afriad all his stunts would turn out to be CG, knowing Lucas. So maybe he wouldn't be such a bright idea anyway.

Ok, that's all for now. We'll have 3 more for you tomorrow as the countdown continues.....

Cinco 3 Posted by Hello

Skip

Man oh man,

So I'm going thru my material for tomorrow's post. Spend 2 hours on the computer gathering pictures when... poot! The blog site won't load them up.

Nuts.

So sadly Cardco Fans, tomorrow's post will only consist of story without the help of visible aid. I'll see what I can do to correct this problem but until then, it looks like you're just going to have to use your imagination.

You're going to love it though...

Round 2

Woo-hooo!

What a week so far! Things have just been rolling along for all of us up here at Cardco Comix. Sometimes we just wonder where do the days go... but then our alarm clocks go off and we realize it was all a dream, and that there never was a Boise Town, Colorado covered in dark chocolate.

..... what?

Pope Me Posted by Hello

...but not least

Does anyone realize that the month of April is almost over already??!! Where DO the days go? It seems not too long ago we were celebrating April Fools Day (or at least I was) and now it's over.

Oh well. Here's part 3 of this weeks strip. Expect the next one to come out on time next week. I'll try not to fall behind again.

Biscuits and Gravy

Every morning I wake up to go to work it always smells like bacon in my apartment. I haven't figured out why this is.

Is it because my roommate has bacon for breakfast EVERY morning. That can't be right? Who has bacon every day of the week?!?! That's crazy right????

Maybe we spilled a can of Baco's somewhere and no one's cleaned it up yet.... yeah that's it.

Pope Deck! Posted by Hello

Late Post

Better late than never eh? Don't worry (Mike, this means you) I'm still alive and kicking. Things just get so busy with work that sometimes it's just too hard to post in the mornings. Or like Stace says "I can't do it"

Ok, Cardco Fans! Have we got a doozy for you this week! This is our take on the Pope's death. Hopefully all you catholics out there will forgive us, but when we found out that they actually DO this to the pope after his death we couldn't help but make a crack at it.

We hope you enjoy!

Where go Met's?

Man, my baseball team's really been sucking it up so far this year. But at least the Yankees aren't playing well either. Guess I can be thankful for the little things right?

Another Happy Ending... I think

As you saw, we touched back up on some Fractured Fairy Tales again. I hope you enjoyed them.

Next week's are going to be even better, so stay turned and have a great weekend Cardco Fans!

Out of order

Sorry about the lack of posts yesterday Cardco Fans, but it seems our internet connection wasn't working due to the fact that my roommate hadn't paid the bill in quite some time. (2nd time running)

But now we're back online and ready to deliver the final 2 chapters of this weeks strip. Hope you enjoy!

Oh Jack Posted by Hello

monday post

Work's already starting to affect my blog. Too tired to post yesterday fans. Sorry about that. But we will be posting through-out the week so don't worry, you'll get your money's worth.

Oh yeah, and I found out what the deal was with the trouble some of you have to post. Seems the fans have created a stir! I have "above normal" traffic on my blog, which means I won't be able to perform post as smoothly due to the high rate of visitors we get.

Now before my head exploded with ego, I was also informed that this is a fairly common problem amoung blogs and I'm just going to have to deal with it. (or pay for an upgrade)

So if you're having trouble posting, just give it time I was told, then everything should be fine.

Go team go? Posted by Hello

Uh-oh!

Ok fans, looks like this early work schedule's getting to me already! In part 2 of our comic strip this week it says the she just broke up with her "girlfriend"

That was actually supposed to be "boyfriend", sorry about the blunder. Yes, it could have been the other way around knowing how things usually turn out for me but that did not happen. (in this case)

With that said Cardco Fans, enjoy your weekend and we'll see you next week with another comic strip!

Happily ever after?

So now I feel like an old fogy. I went to bed at 10:30 last night and now I feel like I should have gone to bed at 9:30 instead. This early morning thing's ruining my night life.... well, if I had one that is...

Early bird posts

Like my new time slot for post? I do these a lot earlier now since things have gotten busy around the "office" let's say. Oh, that and I got a job again. (yeah) Good to be back in the working world!

Once again?

Ok fans,

Here we go with one last edition to the "HeartBreakers" series. Out of all the stories I told this was the only one with the most attention that got left out of the other two stories. It's about this chick in college named Becky who's Dad was a farmer.

Once again, the story's pretty much true and still gets laughs from a few of my friends whenever I tell it. (but should I really be calling you "friends"?)

Anyway here's part one, hope you enjoy!

Single-er

Ok so I had a pic post for today but lost it. I have no clue where it went so this'll just be apost for now. I finally broke down and got a cell phone. Yikes.

Now I have all these new adventures of having to remember to take my phone with me wherever I go. I also must remeber to charge it regularly or (who knew) it goes dead.

Can't say I'm really crazy about getting one but some things had to be done. Now how do I put this on vibrate again?

Let's go Mets! Posted by Hello

Baseball is in the air!

Baseball season is finally upon and I for one am glad it's here. As some of you already know, I love baseball, and I love the Mets. Sure I don't expect to win this year (not even make the playoffs) but it doesn't change the fact that baseball will always be my favorite sport. So if you don't have a team to route for I suggest you pick one out to root for the season.

Pick on color, name, city or any other type. It's fun. Trust me.

Have a great weekend Cardco Fans!

Technical difficulties

Sorry Folks,

Our Blog's been undergoing a few technical difficulties (as some of you already know)

This has been the cause for many missing posts you've put on their and multiple posts that were done by accident.

To tell you the truth, all my past posts have been deleted from my system! It's like I never even posted a thing from my folder!? Strange.

But I have the good ole boys from Blogspot helping me on this issue. We should get to the bottom of it soon. Thanks for your patience.

Whoops!

My post didn't generate yesterday to explain to you what this weeks comic strip is all about.

I'm afraid this week will just be for those special few who get this inside joke. I try to avoid these at all cost seeing how not everyone really knows the situation with the AAPC right now.

But since this has been the main topic for months around here I can't resist poking a little fun at it. (Bruce you were right, this would have been better if done sooner)

So for those who don't get it, just bear with me Cardco Fans and we'll have a great one out for you next week. Promise!

Hot off the press

Isn't this a pretty little pic. Found this one over the internet last week and couldn't pass it up to show you fans. Something to tide you over till tomorrow when our new comic strip comes out.

I think some of you are going to like it, while most of you won't get it. It's the closest thing to an inside joke that I've ever done on the blog. But we shall see....
