The Good News
The Mets rank #2 in Pitching and #4 in Best Offense in teams that made it to the postseason. Though no one has them winning it all, I predict we beat the Dodgers but fall short in the NL Championship. (here's to hoping I'm wrong)
Matt Harvey agreeing to go ahead and pitch in the post-season is great news! Unfortunately, he's been moved to 3rd in the rotation, giving us a handicap against the Dodgers who have a powerful 1, 2 punch with Kershaw and Grienke going back to back.
My Mets better have their bats ready for this showdown, because we're going to need some help getting by that roadblock and on to the Beast of a Central division team we'll eventually have to play.
LET'S GO METS!!!
The Bad News
Auburn dismissed it's top receiver (and predicted 1st round draft pick) Duke Williams yesterday for school violations. Like Michael Dyer before him, the moron couldn't stay out of trouble and Gus (rightfully) booted him off the team.
After all, what do you think this is? Florida State Football?!
I applaud Gus for making a call Gene Chicken never would do. Though this essential shoots Auburn's already poor offense in the foot, let's face it folks...we couldn't get any worse than we are now.
Even my pre-season prediction of Auburn going 8-4 for the season seems laughable now. Our only 2 wins for the season will be Kentucky and Idaho (and I'm scared to death of Kentucky) After that, every Auburn fan knows a beat down is coming.
LET'S GO METS!!!
