Time to kick off our July Movie preview. There's a lot coming out, but will I see any of them? Find out below...
Ghostbusters
Definite no. Because I hate women....oh and the fact that it looks like t-total GARBAGE!
The BFG
Spielberg put together a good trailer for this one, but I'm not interested in it at all. That and the initials BFG make me wonder if it stands for Big F***** Guy.
You were thinking the same thing too, I know it.
Jason Bourne
I LOVED the Bourne movies when they came out! Oh course I also loved Ace of Base music too back then. I care for neither now.
Lights Out
Have to admit, I'm curious about this one. After watching the student film it was based off of, I'm interested to see how this one turns out. But since Megan hates most horror movies, I'll sadly have to wait until DVD for it.
The Purge: Election Year
I have no idea why I like these movies. I've never seen a one in theaters and this will be added to the list of rentals come the end of the year.
The Secret Life of Pets
Megan's most anticipated film of the year. (I'm not joking) So I'll have to see it either way. But I hope it's not one of those movies with a good trailer but awful storyline! Guess I'll find out in the next few weeks!
Star Trek Beyond
Since the Director has stated, he's "politely" ignoring the events of the last AWFUL movie, I guess I can give this one a shot. Looks too much like a yawner, but I'll let it take my money one final time before giving up on the movie franchise as a whole.
Tarzan
A vomit a little, every time I see the trailer. I vomit more just talking about it. This isn't going to be only garbage my friends, but hot steaming, filth-ridden, corpse-rotting, maggot growing garbage at that!
Not. Interested.
What about you? Agree? Disagree? Did I get anything wrong? Let me know in the comments!

Hypocrites (2)
We hear all the time in the news how we should not judge every Muslim as a terrorist. Or for that matter, anyone of Arabic decent. I agree.
I have Arabic neighbors and I'm not frightened by them at all. In fact, being my neighbors I wish I knew them better. But I don't think they speak English, since I've tried saying "Hello" a few times and have only gotten a wave and smile in return.
But isn't it hypocritical how they judge the confederate flag? What's a part of our history and heritage in the south has been blown up into some awful thing, that anyone considered flying one is considered a "racist"
That's not what this flag stands for. Has it been used that way? Yes. But so has the Muslim religion and I don't see anyone talking about that.
How hypocritical are these people who walk around telling us not to "judge a book by it's cover" but automatically crucify anyone who dares wave this flag.
I pray America wakes up from their hypocrisy and learns to accept the flag for what it truly stands for.

Hypocrites (1)
With the recent shootings in Orlando, we're constantly told how much human lives matter. We have people debating how to stop these acts of violence. We hold candle processions, moments of silence and stars have given countless tributes to the violence that took place.
But what about abortion? You know, the thing that keeps killing millions of unborn children a year? Where's the cry to save their lives? Why do we think of ourselves as so "sophisticated" when we destroy our own?
Oh, it the "mothers" right? Ok, then why aren't we saying the same thing for the shooter in Orlando? He can't take the heartbeats out of 49 people, but woman who don't won't their own children and take the lives of theirs with no repercussion?!
What a hypocritical society we live in these days.
More tomorrow.

Election Time 2016
As the election starts to heat up, it looks like America isn't happy with the two candidates that made it through.
On the Democratic side you have Hilary Clinton, who no one trusts and is being actively investigated by the FBI in a serious violation of US security. It's gotten so bad, that the guy who helped her with the emails has already taken an immunity deal on the matter in exchange for his testimony. Not a good thing.
On the other side you have Donald Trump, a candidate that his own party can't endorse. So divided are they on the matter that even though he's secured the nomination by the people, that they want to change their candidate REGARDLESS how the millions of Republicans voted this primary season.
I have to admit. Looking at both parties, this is hilarious. And though I've never voted for either party in the presidential election, I hope 2 things happen this November.
1) Hilary Clinton gets elected and the next morning is convicted by the FBI for her crimes.
OR
2) Donald Trump gets elected and leaves half of America stunned and outraged for the next 4 years. Chaos rules.
Folks on both sides have been floating the idea of a 3rd party candidate. Something I've always believed in for years. I always vote for the guy who represents my beliefs on the issues and it's NEVER been a dim-witted Democrat or rotten Republican EVER.
Some people look to Gary Johnson as a solution. He seems like a nice guy but in reality, he's not a good fit for the office either in my opinion.
"Ok then Matt, who is?" you ask? The answer is I don't know yet because all of the candidates have yet to announce yet. But once one does that fits my beliefs. They'll get my vote. Until that time, America needs to decide whether they'll follow a 2 party system or break away from the flock, be bold and vote for whoever they think is best to run the country.
....though if Trump ends up winning, I'll be laughing for weeks thereafter, I promise.

Toys That Time Forgot (5)
Super Power vehicles.
Justice League vehicle. We had this as a kid.
As well as Lex Luthor's vehicle too.
The owner sounds super nice, though I didn't get the time to talk to him myself he seemed really good with the customers. Online, some of the reviews talk about how the employees follow you around the store but I never experienced that. Everyone was super nice and I just felt bad that they didn't have a good enough board game section as I'd hoped.
Still, I'm glad I got a chance to visit it.
Have a good weekend folks!

Also had the Batmobile. Loved it as a kid. The coolest version of it too in my opinion!
So that's it folks! If you're ever in the area, I would recommend you take the time to check it out. The prices are a little much but I heard the owner say to a serious buyer, that if he was going to spend money he would give him a deal. And from the sound of it, he did.The owner sounds super nice, though I didn't get the time to talk to him myself he seemed really good with the customers. Toys That Time Forgot (4)
More than meets the eye at this store!
Again, their collection of Star Wars toys is beyond belief!
And action figure, playset of vehicle you can think of, they had.
THE most desired playset from my childhood that I never received. We built our own as kids but that still didn't stop me from dreaming about it. Fun fact, Kenner would go back and use the same exact mold for it's Robin Hood Prince of Thieves toy line as Robin Hood's Merrymen hideout!
Original Han Solo blaster.
Smurfs figures! Funny thing is, they still sell these at toy stores but the older ones are collectables.
Original stormtrooper blaster.
Huge G.I Joe playset.
K, last round of pics from this place coming tomorrow!!

Toys That Time Forgot (3)
As for their collection of Star Wars toys, most impressive. Look at this Death Star playset! I would have spent hours with this as a kid!
Millennium Falcon...in the box. Beyond "Wow"
Packs and sets of the movie cards. (way over-priced)
Droid factory playset.
And tons of figures.
Even an original carrying case for the action figures. I remember wanted one as a kid. My neighbor had the Darth Vader one, which was nice.
Again, Wow. Tons of Star Wars originals in the box.
And hanging all around the store in their original packaging!
Such an amazing store and I STILL have more pictures to share! C-ya tomorrow!

Toys That Time Forgot (2)
Time to return back to the shop in Canal Fulton, OH that has it all! ( like most of the Thundercats toys I had as a kid)
Or the Super Powers toys that I loved! If I were super rich, I'd buy the complete set (loose) so that I could play with them with my future kids!
A batmobile race track?! As a 12 year old boy, I would have taken this entire store home with me.
Old Amigo toys, in the package. Impressive!
Super Power and Secret Wars toys in the package as well. Felt like 1988 all over again!
One nice lunch box!
Even had great comics available as well!
And hundreds of lunch boxes all around the top shelf of a store.

Toys That Time Forgot (1)
A few weeks ago on my trip to Columbus, OH I was able to visit a vintage toy store that had over 4,500 square feet of toys! It was an amazing sight and today I wanted to share some of those pics with you!
First thing when you walk into the door you're blown away by all the vintage toys they have.
Megan would DIE for one of those jeeps. But at $80 a pop, they were way too expensive for my taste!
Voltron. I used to have that exact figure as a kid!
I didn't have the Castle of Lions as a kid but I wish I did!!
Even the villains for the toy line had vehicles. Though we never got them as kids.
Good ole Ghostbuster toys. I used to play with them at a friends house but never had them myself as a kid. Always liked them though.
He-Man toys. Someone bought me that same Spider Vehicle for my birthday once. Even though I didn't have He-Man growing up, I still loved playing with it. Until the day we tried scaring my little neighbor with it once and she got a baseball bat and destroyed it.....dang it.
I used to have this game and play it all the time as a kid. It was a little wind-up game. Looks stupid now but back then, it was one of the best toys to take on the road!
I'll show more pics off tomorrow!

Antique Finds Columbus OH
So on a trip to Columbus OH last week, I had time to stop by an antique store and look around. Here's a few things I saw:
Super Powers. Some of my favorite toys as a kid!
Megan would've liked this.
I used to have these toy boats as bathtub toys as a kid!
Who says "I need an ancient replica helmet" these days?
This would look great in my enemies front yard.
I loved me some Super Friends cartoon back in the day!
If I could have one cardboard cutout....
An old alarm clock from the 60's.
What I wish was my new alarm clock now!
Muppet chess!
My grandmother had this game when we were kids! I used to play it all the time! Unfortunately, the box didn't come with the dice or tokens so I didn't get it. But now I'll have to keep my eyes out for it!
Have a good weekend folks!
