My First Cabbage Patch Kids

Top 100 Review (#50-41)

Alright! Time to talk about my Top 50! Let's do this!

#50

Excellent game that makes Battleship look like a loser. It moved up 4 spots on my list to clinch a position in the Top 50 but I think will miss out next year due to 2 player games being harder and harder to get to the table.

#49

Super hard to find replacement parts for it so I'm still missing 2 tokens to the game but if I ever find them, I think this game will jump up a lot more. It moved up 1 spot which is not bad considering it's an incomplete game in my collection.

 #48

This game jumped 10 spots on the list and if the fun continues every time I play the game, I feel it's going to continue the trend of moving up. Everyone is laughing and screaming during it which adds to its value after each play.

#47

New game to my list that's super fun! But if I can't get the buzzard to pick up the people (it misses a lot if set off track) then it'll move down the list. I LOVE how the buzzard it so HUGE in the game!

#46

Another wish list game that entered my collection this year. Unique theme and game play but again, there's a problem with moving the magnet on the board. So just like Back Off Buzzard, if I continue to have issues with the game, it will slide down the list as well.

#45

Man I love Nerts! It moved down 19 spots on the list because it never looks like I'm going to play it. And it'll probably drop even more in 2021 as that sad trend continues.

#44

Falling down 6 spots was a mystery to me. Maybe just all the new games that were added but this game is solid. Even the Mrs. enjoyed playing it with me this year! I think it'll climb up again in 2021.

#43

Fast friendly dice chucking game. Absolute blast each time I play it. Though it did drop 13 spots on the list, it remains one of my favorite vintage dice games in my collection!

#42

An excellent new addition to my collection which may inch its way up higher on the list as time goes by. My nephews and I totally love this zaney game that involves a magnet and a maze.

#41

Every year this games moves up my list. This year is was 6 spots. I'm positive it'll crack the Top 40 by next year.

Have a good weekend folks!

Holding hands

May the little comforts in life always keep us as happy as two sisters holding hands.

Top 100 Review (#60-51)

#60

A new game to my list that I think would climb higher if it wasn't so difficult to put together! Though it may move down the list next year, I know I'll at least get it to the table soon.

#59

This fun little game dropped 37 spots on my list this year because it's not getting played as much as it used to. But I think this is where it will land next year, now that I know it won't be getting as many plays moving forward.

#58

Fun family coop game that dropped another 16 spots this year but only because we played 2 player. I enjoy this at 4 and am sure if I get that number again it'll rise back up on my list next year.

#57

My wife's highest ranked game on my list. It's Topple with Smurfs and a whole lot of fun. It only moved down 1 spot from last year so I think it's found it's permanent spot on my list and won't be budging anytime soon.

#56

New game to my list that has a lot of "take that" elements to it. I love the unique mechanism to the game as well but I don't think this moves any higher on my list in the future due to the harshness of the "take that" element I mentioned earlier.

#55

It surprisingly moved down my list 9 spots but is still an awesome game to play! 7 spots were due to newer games coming on the list but don't know how else to explain the drop. Fun electronic adventure game!

#54

Liar's Dice is the easiest game to make or buy. You just need cups and six sided dice. This game dropped 23 heavy spots this year because much like LCR this game isn't being played as much as it used to back in the day. But also like LCR I think this is where it'll be on my list moving forward.

#53

Only moving down 2 spots, I feel this game will jump back into my Top 50 next year because it's still wildly popular with my group. It's fast and fun to play which is why it keeps coming back to the table each year.

#52

A new game to my list that I love but the water factor may prevent it from being played as much next year if I can't figure out a way to protect my board. I feel it will hurt this game and move it down the list slightly with the lack of plays I'm expecting of it.

#51

I'm sure there was a collective gasp when I announced this game didn't even make my Top 50. But it went up 6 spots from last year and I think will make it in, in 2021. It's really just play a card and move. The spinning top is the only unique thing about it but even the randomness of it won't ever qualify it to be in my Top 20.

Top 100 Review (#70-61)

#70

When I added more money at the start of the game it really helped this game! It moved up 6 spots. I think it has more room to grow moving onward too!

#69

This one dropped 20 spots and will probably fall hard again next year as I'm not sure it'll get played until I can come up with a fix for the game.

#68

Fun game but it's just a battle game of rolling dice, which is why it dropped 23 spots this year. I think it'll slide a little more in 2021 for the same reason as well.

#67

It dropped 27 spots on the list because it's a real simple game. Fun but simple. I don't see it dropping much going forward.

#66

It dropped 34 spots because it'll never get played. I wish it could but its not. 2021 will not be kind to this story on the list I'm afraid.

#65

This game dropped another 21 spots on the list because each year it gets harder to find someone to play it with me. It's a gem of a game that hopefully has found its footing on the list and won't slide down any more.

#64

This one only moved 1 spot down the list but is pretty solid. If I'm able to get the expansion that just came out this year (UK only) I foresee this climbing up my list next year!

#63

This game moved UP 25 spots on my list because it finally got played and is a fun classic game! I'm sure it will retain its spot if played again next year.

#62

Another game that got to the table and moved up because of it. 30 spots higher than last year. But I think it'll drop a bit in 2021 unless I can get this 2 player game to the table again soon.

#61

This one only dropped 2 spots mainly to newer games coming on to the list. I think I found the right spot for it here and it basically stays the same rank next year.

Top 100 Review (#80-71)

#80

Fun card game that dropped 11 spots on my list because....it's a card game. Ha! Though I enjoy it, card games are my least favorite games to play.

#79

Please see notes above. Another game that at one point was in my Top 10 but has slowly continued to drop each year thereafter. This time the drop was 19 spots. Card games in my collection are worth playing but it doesn't mean I'll always play them as much as the other games in my collection.

#78

Dropping 23 spots, this is the card game that took the biggest dip. Again, I like these games but when it's mainly a deck of cards the appeal isn't there as much for me.

#77

Dropping 24 spots on the list I think it's because this game over stays its welcome a little too much in the end when you're slowly trying to get rid of all that money.

#76

Taking another huge 24 spot drop, the main issue with this game is I cannot get it to the table, so I'm afraid its doomed to continue to fall on the list again in 2021.

#75

It dropped 10 spots and almost got traded until I thought about it and decided to keep it instead. Lovely 80's game but it may be getting stale, which means it'll drop again probably next year.

#74

After moving to my Vintage list this year, this game experienced a boom moving up a whopping 130 spots from the previous list. I think it'll move up again next year before it levels out.

 #73

Dropping 12 spot this year only because I played it with 2 players (which isn't as fun) This is a great bluffing game and if I get more players to the table next time, it's sliding days down the list are over.

#72

New to the list, if played within the right group I can see this one moving up my list next year.

#71

Great game. Slide 5 small spots but mainly due to new games being added. I think the same will be the case for it in 2021.

Top 100 Review (#90-81)

#90

This excellent 2 player game dropped 18 spots on the list because it's getting harder to have anyone play it with me. I don't think it'll fall any further but I really hope I play it in 2021.

#89

This one dropped 15 spots on the list because it's slowly being replaced by It from the Pit which has a similar mechanic but is a better game.
#88

As a kid this was one of my favorites. As an adult, it's not being played anymore though I still have a copy. It only fell 5 spots from the year before but I have a feeling it could drop completely off my list next year if I don't play it.

#87

This is one my little niece's favorite games to play and also the Mrs played it with me this year and enjoyed it too. It slipped just 2 spots on my list but mainly retained its ranking.

#86

Fun game, but not with 2 players which is probably why it fell 22 spots on the list this year. If I get to play it again with more players I do expect it to climb back up the list.

#85

This game didn't get played this year because my girls lost the ping pong balls. It floundered a whopping 52 spots on my list due to this. BUT I now have some replacements so next year I expect this one to rocket back up the list.

 #84

Fun little racing game my wife will always play with me, which is why it makes the list. It did drop 11 spots but that may be due to a few newer games hitting the list this year.
#83

This one shifts up and down my list every year it seems. This year it dropped 6 spots so I'm going to say it moves back up in 2021.

#82

Like I said in my video this game had its best chance come and go this past year. Now, I'm doubtful I'll ever get to play it again. It fell 14 spots this year and does stand the risk of dropping off completely in 2021.

#81

Dropping 11 spots on the list, the only thing holding this game back is that it's incomplete. It IS a gun game though!

Have a good weekend folks!
