What ever happened to cell phone batteries?

Remember back in the day when you could go 3 days before having to charge your phone? Today I have to charge it at least once a day sometimes twice!! I know streaming video and online access drain a battery faster but why haven't they compensated by inventing a long lasting battery?!

Heck, I'd even go back to having a thicker phone if it made a difference! I just want more battery life and not have to charge it at every turn!
