As a kid, I LOVED this cartoon. We would be late to school every morning it came on because we would delay putting on our shoes just so we could see the ending. Mom would get so mad at us but we didn't care. We just wanted to how he would catch the villain in the end.
Watching it as an adult I can still get joy out of the series. From the Hong Kong Book of Kung-Fu to his classic phrase "And a rinky dinky doo, to you!" Hong Kong Phooey is easily one of Hanna-Barbara's best cartoons out there!
