All Saints Day

This is a holiday I've actually celebrated for some time! My parent were never much for Halloween so we never did anything special for it. But our church was always doing something on All Saints Day the next day, so this was a holiday I celebrated.

Even working at the courthouse, they still give you this day off (thanks to me!) Years ago, when I was working there, everyone got asked the Chief Assessor if he would give us Halloween off. He said "No" but I offered All Saints Day as a suggestion for it's religious purposes. They conceded and it's been a recognized holiday at the courthouse ever since!

Though I'm not off today, hope you all have a Happy All Saints Day as well!
