So after his 2nd time playing the game he finally wins. Does he deserve it? I guess. There was no one else even close to being worthy next to him so congrats by surrounding himself with two losers. That's the way you win Survivor.
Btw, I called Brenda the pregnant the second I saw her appear on satellite. The Blood vs Water has something to do with family so I'm guessing it's the Hantz family vs a new group of Survivors.
Whatever happens, I'll be there in September watching it all go down!

It was indeed a great ending. My husband is a huge Survivor fan and was rather happy that Cochran won. And yes he did pick two weaker ones to go to the end with. For good reason because Eddie would have stolen the show! Hopefully you will get to meet the hubby in a couple of weeks at Stephen's wedding.
John always talks about me seeing him on the show one day but we'll see. Not sure I could handle that.
He might do better on the show than you think! Can't wait to meet him then!
I thought the season sucked. Maybe I said that about last season too. But I thought the "favorites" they picked were awful (the fans were better, but still included Sherrie and Shamar). They didn't pick "favorites" or even "successful previous survivor contestants". They picked losers who they thought might boost ratings. Philip was a tool, can't stand him. Brandon was a total idiot, and most of the females were completely annoying and incompetent (Dawn). Brenda was a good player, so an exception. Cochran is ok, but his talk about himself being a dominant player was a little much. He had advantages in 2 of the challenges he won, and had the benefit of the Fans voting off strong females to begin with and keeping one of the worst Survivors ever (Shamar) for too long. He also benefited from Erik going down medically, who may have won. And the way Survivor merged the tribes also helped him.
My favorite players were Malcolm and Reynold. Reynold/Eddie never had the numbers, and were marked men. Malcolm made some stupid decisions like trusting Corinne (and Dawn). Once he did that, it was over for him. I also am getting weary of challenges that specifically favor females - such as putting your feet on tiny pegs (women typically have tiny feet), and holding a percentage of your body weight, where all the guys go first (yeah, it's a coincidence). It doesn't let anyone go on a Colby-like run.
That said, there were some good moments. Of coruse I'll be back for next season. I'm interested to see how they incorporate family, but if you're right, and they bring the Hantz family, I may have to take a break from Survivor. Couldn't stomach that.
