Crossroads of Twilight

Egad. I'm at the point now on where I can't decide whether Jordan's dragging out the story on purpose or if this was some sort of "cash grab" agreement between himself and the publisher.

The first 500 pages of the book talk about what the other characters were doing...during the last few pages of the last book when we were reading about Rand (the main character)

Yikes.

Nothing much happened in this one either but I have hopes of progress for the next book since I believe Jordan was originally planning to have 12 books in the series but needed some "filler" to make it that far.

We'll see if my theory comes close to panning out in the next book...
