Ever wonder why zippers always have the letters "YKK" on them?
Well the reason for that is back in 1934, Yoshida Kogyo Kabushililaisha was founded. Sixty years later they changed their name to YKK Co. The privately owned firm, is headquartered in Japan, and has 80 companies in 52 countries working for them around the world.
Now can you guess what they provide a majority of the world with? Yep, zippers.
Pretty neat huh?

That's a really good "FFF". It's really not cool that you won't be able to make it to Five O'Clock Friday! You need to make every effort to try to make it anyhow!
And attract people to our site: www.FiveOClockFriday.info
I love FFF day!
I just thought they had a premonition of Y2K.
nice picture.......
Mine says "YBS." What does that mean?
It means you should tell the truth.
YBS stands for "You'll Be Sorry" you didn't get YKK. : )
It's funny you mention this... I have a pair of jeans I really like, but the stupid zipper won't stay up - I compared it to my other jeans which have a YKK zipper, and noticed that the more beloved pair does not... go figure. Stupid cheap generic zipper.
Hey folks,
For some reason it's not letting me on my blog to post today. I'll try to work on getting this fixed but it looks like no post today. Sorry.
