Clone Wars Season 6 Preview

So they're making this bonus content on the next DVD set of Clone Wars, which gives me a better reason to add them to my collection without having too much disappointment in the series as a whole.

In other news "Star Wars: Rebels" TV show was announced by Disney to premiere on there Disney XD station in the fall of next year. The series will take place between Episode 3 and 4 and hopefully will be more interesting than it's predecessor.

Is Disney on the right track with Star Wars? That's yet to be determined.

By the way, how's everyone feeling about JJ Abram's being the director of Star Wars after all the Trekkies suffered a huge disappointment over the newest film? Haven't seen it yet but every trekkie I've spoke to is a little miffed at how one character (for sake of spoilers will go unamed) was handled in it.

See ya folks!

I don't care about hard-to-please Trekkies. I know enough of the history, and have seen enough of the older flicks. I LOVED IT. The movie was fantastic. Not sure what character they're pissed about, but not everything can be exactly the way they want it, or how it used to be. Visually stunning, and with a ton of heart, it was way better than Iron Man 3 (which I also liked). Abrams killed.

(so, I guess I'm saying I get more and more confident with every one of his films that he's going to make an awesome Star Wars movie)

Also, you are talking out of both sides of your mouth. You can't say "huge disappointment" and then "a little miffed". Which was it?

Nerds :-)

Star trek was great, without spoiling anything the characters were handled well, I thought. Benedict Cumberbatch played an awesome villain. I HIGHLY recommend going to see it. Halfway through, I got all fanboy giddy that Abrams was going to do Star Wars.

Also, it felt to me like the opening sequence and one of the final scenes were lifted straight out certain whip cracking hero's adventures.

Ask a Trekkie. I have no idea. Like I said, I haven't seen it yet but Trek fans are reportedly "up in arms" over something in the film.

My friends told me they were upset over the use of... (SPOILER ALERT) Kahn in the movie. Saying he wasn't developed well in the film. They still liked the movie, but said it could've been better.

An article just came out about how Star Wars fans shouldn't panic about the newest Star Trek film being so bad.

Again, I haven't seen it yet but obviously something has folks upset about it....and JJ Abrams sucks! LOL

Ha ha ha! Well look at us posting comments at the same time?! Great Jedi think alike I suppose.

I'm going to see it next week, I'm sure it'll be an enjoying popcorn flick last the last one. Remember, I'm not a Trekkie but I respect the franchise and have seen ever TV episode and movie ever made. I'm looking forward to how this one turns out.

Though will JJ direct Star Trek 3 or is he going to slap his "producer" name on it and leave it altogether?

I wouldn't identify myself as a trekkie, but I have seen all the films and loved TNG and DS9. I tolerated Voyager and Enterprise (although Enterprise was better than people give it credit for).

And since you let the cat out of the bag first I'll mention one other thing I liked about this, there is a parallel scene in this film to one in Wrath of Khan, that I enjoyed a lot, JJ really turned it on its ear.

I LIKE JJ ABRAMS, leave him alone!

A side note, I hear a lot of mixed reviews on iron man 3. I have little interest in it, so Ill be waiting for the redbox or something to see it.

Iron Man 3's not that bad. If you have the time go check it out. It was better than I thought it'd be.

I loved Enterprise. DS9 was good too! But no movie has come close to beating ST2 The Wrath of Kahn. It was a good ole revenge tale with an established back story that was brilliant. They won't be able to create magic like that again.

Kinda like Empire Strikes Back for Star Wars fans. Nothing'll ever beat it.
