Goodbye 2014

Can you believe it's already over?

The years fly by the older you get it seems.

Had a good time in 2014. My YouTube channel's really taken off and I've gained some small notoriety on the web!

Not a bad year if I do say so myself!

Happy Birthday to the Bub!

Megan's favorite days of the year are Xmas and her Birthday....because she knows she's getting presents on both of them!

 The World Showcase is one of my favorite places to visit.

 It's Megan's least favorite park.

 Megan was getting bored halfway thru it though.

 They make the caramel right there in the store!

 She didn't like stopping for pictures in every world. I wanted to take some closer to the buildings but she was wanting to move on to Hollywood Studios and get this part of the day over with.

 Norway...where they closed my favorite Viking ride.

I had fish and chips in England. They were good but I should have gone for something more exotic I think.

And Megan HAD to take a picture of this girl in the blue dress. She thought it was so funny you'd come dressed to Disney as that!

We ate at Casey's Corner for dinner and I have to say it's my FAVORITE place to eat at Disney World hands down!

Not only is the food delicious, but it has big portions (which makes it worth the money spent) and a classic theme to my favorite sport, Baseball.

What's not to like about that?!

Megan meets Santy Claws

Now here's a girl having a REALLY good time at Disney!

It was his first year to be at the Mickey Xmas party and he was so popular they had him come out early before the Party even started! The line gets so long they told us, that they've had to bring him out earlier just so everyone can have a chance to see him.

We were lucky to get in line early and be the 2nd couple in line!

Disney Quest

For the first time this year we went to Disney Quest. We had free tickets with our hotel stay and decided to try it out before going to Mickey's Very Merry Xmas Party.

Overall it was ok. There were old school arcade games, pinball, shoot'em, and racing games. Skeeball, basketball, air hockey and even a few VR rides like the Pirates of the Caribbean which was similar to Midway Mania.  They even had a "Buzz Lightyear" game that had you crawl into these cars that sucked up balls the other passenger shot at the competition. When you were hit your car spun around. Pretty neat.

Megan loved it but is it worth the price of a ticket? No way. I say if you get free comp tickets then check it out. Other than that...you can skip it.

But given the chance to go again for free, I would.

Us on the Jingle Cruise. It's an Xmas version of the ride offered only in December. I'm glad I got a chance to experience it!
