We got this dude from the Blue Jays in a steal and I've been thankful ever since! It's a wonderful deal that's been benefiting my Mets for the past few years and hopefully more to come!
Getting the best catcher in MLB history from the Marlins was so close to being my #1. I love Piazza and only wish he'd have gotten a ring with the Mets while he was there.
The reason we won the '86 was because we made a great deal with the Cardinals and brought in a guy who would lead this team all the way! My favorite player for the Mets (with Piazza being a close 2nd)
