Watch this without putting your hand over your mouth and you'll have done much better than I did, watching this...this.... well, this.

Black Friday Bub (2)
The "bub" stayed up all night with the "crazies"
But she got an HP laptop for under $250 and a flat screen TV for $98
Incredible.
C-ya tomorrow folks!
Black Friday Bub (1)
Last night I ventured out to see what was going on for Black Firday... here's what I found...
Time to start Tebowing
It's that time of the year folks! Here are the things I'm Tebowing for this season:
1) Please let us beat Bama tomorrow.
2) Ok, so that first one was a little too much.... but please make it close.
3) You know what, never mind. Bring me world peace, that would be easier.
4) Please let me have all my Xmas shopping done by the end of the month.
5) Please let me not receive any cheesy Star Wars related gifts this year.
6) Don't let the Youth cry too hard when we beat them again in the Santa Bowl this year.
7) Please let us beat Bama
8) Let the Mets farm system get better so we'll stop over paying ball players for mediocre seasons.
9) I'm sorry about #7, just had to put that in again....give me a millions dollars instead.
10) On 2nd thought, I'd rather beat Bama, so keep the money if that helps.
C-ya tomorrow!

As you all know, this is my favorite holiday of the year. That's right, it's not Christmas. Though I enjoy that holiday as well noting makes me happier than to sit around a table with my family and be thankful for all the many things God has given me.
I'm thankful for the life I've been given and I couldn't be more content with it!
HAPPY THANKSGIVING EVERYONE!!!

Miami/Florida Marlins Home Run Feature
In their new ballpark, when the Marlins hit a Homerun, THIS is what they'll. I'M NOT JOKING!!
The sound of gun shots you hear are Marlins fans shooting themselves in the head.

Herbie's bane
Poor Kirk.
Tonight the BCS is going to acknowledge what the whole world has known for years... the SEC DOMINATES college football.
With the Top 3 teams in the BCS standings now being from the SEC West, it'll now be near impossible for Kirk not to admit.
While listening to him Friday talk about how Oregon should be the deserving team to go he even suggested LSU may not be able to beat them a 2nd time! Okm say it with me... "WHAT?!?!"
But now that dreams over as is Oklahoma's so Herbstreit has no where else to go but to the SEC! (but watch him turn back into a Standford fan just for the fun of it)
Either way, it'll be interesting to see how the most biased person in college football's going to handle this one tonight... let's wait and see.
Ikea (1)
Later on that same day Megan got to see Ikea for the first time... and I got to know what the face of true horror looks like....two floors of nothing but furniture. AAAAHHH!!!!
More to come throughout the day.

Half Price Books
So I just got back from another business trip to Dallas this week and the blonde one got to go with me.
One of the places we stopped at whenever we could find one was Half Price Books.
They sell new and used books, cd's and movies. Each store had it's own uniqueness to it and it was a very interesting place to visit.
Megan enjoyed it the most spending more there then she did on clothes. (no joke)
But we're back and I've got some great footage to show later on.
Until then, have a great Monday everybody!

There goes the season
Losing to the Bulldogs this weekend was tough. I have to admit.
My highest hopes for the season was 10-2, my lowest was 8-4. Now it looks like 7-5.
Yuck.
I just hope we get a cream puff (aka Big East team) in a bowl game.
Samford next week will be a joke and the week after that will be Bama, which will be a disaster, but oh well. I'll be watching either way.

Fear the Hedges!
College football today!
If the hedges can hold these guys back hopefully so can Auburn's defense.

Destined for glory
Unbelievable game last night eh? SEC at it's finest. And guess what? Now that Bama only dropped to the #3 spot you know what that means? REMATCH!
I just want to say that I called this happening if the game ended too close. (as it did) I think it'd be awesome too!
Let's be honest, there's not a soul out there who believes OK State can beat the Sooners so it's looking like a re-match for the BCS Championship and oh what a game that would be!!
Again, this just goes to show you how the SEC dominates college football. I'm happy for both teams (I really am) I love my Tigers but they are going to be pummeled in the Iron Bowl and it's not going to be pretty.
Is LSU/Bama Part 2 even possible you ask? Well if you recall past BCS games it almost happened years ago to Michigan/Ohio State so my answer would be yes.
LSU won in a tight game this time, but would they be able to win back to back??? OOOhhh, it'd be interesting to find out.
Top 5 Star Wars comics
#5 Crimson Empire
The whole reason I got this idea was that after over a decade of waiting Crimson Empire III has just come out. Let's hope it's as good as the first two were, when the story line was about the Crimson Guard after the death of their beloved Emperor. I have no idea what they plan to do in this long awaited sequel, but I have the feeling it'll be a lot like Godfather 3, ok, but a little too late for it's time.
#4 Boba Fett: Twin Engines of Destruction
While most people will wonder why this isn't at the top, I have to admit when it comes to Boba Fett in the comics, the story really bottoms out. But not in this one as Fett tracks down a long time impostor Jodo Kast and what turned out to be the best Boba Fett story the comics ever told!
#3 The Making of Baron Fel
Almost forgot about this book when making my Top 5, but it simply has to be in here. One of the finest books of the X-Wing series, this comic established one of the most popular characters ever from a comic book series. Though now the books mainly linger on his son, Baron Fel's story is truly a classic!
#2 Tales of the Jedi
Hard to beat an original series! When Dark Horse took over the comics, years before books would be popular, this was the only Star Wars series you could find. Based 1000 years before Episode IV this series had one of the best stories DH will ever put out and I think they know it too.
#1 Dark Empire series
Clearly the best of the bunch! The Emperor has been cloned and Luke has joined the Dark side!! Great story, Luke's power in the Force is shown strongly throughout the books. It was so good author Kevin J Anderson became the first person to link the comics in with the books continuity. Genius!

So I did my best and worst Star Wars books, now it's time to do the comic books too I guess.
Instead of calling this the Bottom 5 let's just say these were the most disappointing.
#5 Rogue Squadron
If any lover of Star Wars comics read this post they're going to kill me, but remember this is "most disappointing" comic book series and that being said you have to admit, this one was a bummer. The author PROMISED he would connect his comic book series to his beloved Book series that was out around the same time...and he didn't. I love it when a plan comes together, but I hate it when I realized I've been hosed.
#4 Marvel Comic Series
Yikes, what a disaster! Too many points to be made here, but one that tops everyone's list is Jax, the giant green bunny who befriends Han Solo on many adventures together. Oh yeah, you heard me right. This was back in the day when nobody really cared what the story was about, just only that it was Star Wars.
Oddly enough the Legacy of the Force Book series took a character from this very series and incorporated her as one of the main villains. It makes my stomach churn slightly as I wonder if that now means everything in this series is considered "cannon"
#3 Jabba the Hutt
For some strange reason back in the early days of Dark Horse Star Wars run, they thought it would be a good idea to make a series of books based on Jabba the Hutt and why not? He was an intergalactic gangster! Surely they could come up with a good story line around that?
Short answer: Uh, no. They can't.
#2 Dark Times: Blue Harvest
You wait over 3 years after issue #1 comes out you hope it's going to be worth the wait right? Sadly this wasn't the case. The thing I don't understand was why it took them years to finish this pointless and forgettable story line?! This is the comic book "Pitt" of the Star Wars Universe. (only comic nerds will get that joke, sorry)
1# Union
Luke Skywalker get married! What a great story right?? Well grab a pillow because you'll be bored the whole time through this series. Let me save you the time and sum it up for you. Han and Luke get into a bar fight at the bachelor's party, a pro-imperial tries to bust the wedding up, Luke and Mara get married.
You can thank me now. I just saved you an hour easily right there.
So there you have it! I'll have the Top 5 posted up tomorrow. C-ya then!
