The good news is we resigned Niel Walker.The bad news is, we still haven't resigned Cespedes. Someone the Mets need to even get close to the playoffs next year.
Other sad news, Bartolo Colon is leaving the Mets for the Braves. The 43 year old vet still has his stuff. Throwing a strong 88 mph fastball, Colon shows no signs of slowing down. And though I hate to lose him, I wish him the absolute best with the Braves.
Now the Mets need to get signing more bats to the lineup so I have something to look forward to in 2017!
