Top 200 Board Games Overview (#110-101)

2020 #110 2019 #51 2018 #25 2017 #17

59 spots in the wrong direction isn't good for any game on my list. I don't know why it dropped either. I absolutely love this game. But I also feel its not getting back in due to the tough competition of other games in my collection as well as new games coming in.

2020 #109 2019 #100

This game has always been fighting outside the Top 100 but this year it'll change...for the worse. The newest expansion, while nice, has players suffering major AP. Which will drop it in my rankings this year.

2020 #108

This game's getting in the Top 100 without a doubt. The more plays the more I know it stays on my list! (That was cheesy, I admit)

2020 #107 2019 #123

Shocked this one came so close to being a Top 100 game of mine. I think it'll still be on the outside looking in come the end of the year.

2020 #106 2019 #50 2018 #24 2017 #18

Fun dice game, too simple to ever make my Top 100 again, which is the reason for the enormous drop. Plus there's another dice chucking game I love with a better chance of getting in my Top 100 instead.

2020 #105 2019 #125

Everyone loves this game and so do I. This one will break the Top 100 next year for sure. The newest expansion is going to make sure of that I think.

2020 #104

Another new game I think will do nothing but rise in 2021. EVERYONE loves playing this game in my groups. My nephews love it the most. I think this would be an easy Top 10 game for them.

2020 #103 2019 #119 2018 #74

This game made a valiant effort to get back into the Top 100 this year but I think this is as far as it gets. New games will play "keep away" from this game ever getting back in.
2020 #102 2019 #137 2018 #83 2017 #51 2016 # 47

Another great come back but just missed getting in. I'm not sure what's in store for this excellent racing game. But I'll say it mushes into the Top 100 in 2021.

 2020 #101 2019 #148

I knew this game would climb once I had a completed version but it just misses getting in to my Top 100. But I have faith that will be corrected this year. Such a great action point game. You don't see too many good ones of those these days.

Top 200 Board Games Overview (#120-111)

2020 #120 2019 #45 2018 #20 2017 #25

Yikes!! How dare I drop a Queen Game this far out of the list! I don't know what happened! I guess ever since I played with the max amount of players I haven't had a game live up to that experience yet! This game will probably dropped a little in the coming year but not too much.

2020 #119 2019 #41

Another game that took a drop I think because the newness of the game wore off. It's the original dice placement game so I say it only skips down a little lower on the list this year.

2020 #118

I think this game is going to crack my Top 100 this year. It hasn't been played since my review but I have been chomping at the bit to get it back to the table. There's also an mini expansion coming next month from a Kickstarter I backed which I can't wait to see how it plays!

2020 #117

Man of man. This game has a sot at getting in the Top 100 but I feel new games will cut it just short!

2020 #116

Another great Queen game that I'm going to say will drop since I've predicted so many others rising on this list so far.

2020 #115 2019 #71 2018 #39 2017 #52

After bouncing around my Top 100 I'm calling that this one jumps back in this year. I never have a bad game playing it. I'm not sure why it dropped only that it doesn't get played as much as it used too but its still solid game.

2020 #114 2019 #65 2018 #68

I thought I had this game figured out on my list. But a wave of new games came along with a mix of less plays and here it stand way outside my Top 100. I don't think it ever returns either. New games will continue to push it further down the list.

2020 #113 2019 #58 2018 #36 2017 #42

My favorite restaurant game. It only got played once last year which is the reason for the drop and I think it'll drop more this year for the same reason.

2020 #112

I way underestimated this game. I think it may even break into my Top 100 this year. Believe the hype. It's that good.

2020 #111 2019 #102 2018 #67 2017 #63

I thought 2020 was the year this game would make it back into the Top 100. Instead it went south. I'm guessing new games, so with that in mind, it slips a little more down the list.

Top 200 Board Games Overview (#130-121)

2020 #130

Another Feld find that may rise a few spots but not enough to be in the Top 100.

2020 #129 2019 #135

Was happy to see this game climb a little, even after I thought it'd drop. That's why I hate to sound like a broken record but I'm predicting this is the year it starts to fall. I don't bring it out to the table that much which is why I'm calling the drop.

2020 #128

Been eyeing this one for a few years. Glad to have it in my collection at last. It may inch up a bit but not high enough to get into the Top 100.

2020 #127 2019 #131

It inched up a few spots from the year before but unless I get a 5 player game I don't think it rises any higher. With a game of max players....it'll be a contender for my Top 100 I think!

2020 #126 2019 #117 2018 #73

Hey! What can I say? It's a card game and it's beating so many other board games on the list it should be proud. But I'll predict this card game moves down the list in 2021.

2020 #125 2019 #107

Mayfair is a really good company for games. At least back in the day they were. I love the mini expansions I got for it too. Hard to say what happens to this game in 2020. Let's say it moves up the list.

2020 #124 2019 #99 2018 #81

I knew this game would be leaving my Top 100. Even called it last year too. This year I'm saying it quietly drops a few more spots and remembers the good ole days when my collection was much thinner.

2020 #123 2019 #115 2018 #72 2017 #72

Game about building your own home. Megan won't play this with me but I know if she did she'd like it and that'd be the best way to get back into the Top 100. But she won't play it so it'll continue to sink on my list.

2020 #122 2019 #98 2018 #82

GREAT dice placement game. I don't expect it to make it back into my Top 100 but it will be coming back to the table, so I'll say it slips a few more spots in 2021.

2020 #121

New dice chucking game into my collection. I'm not sure how many times it'll get played this year so I'm going to predict it moves down. However, if it takes off it could find its way into the Top 100. (This is cheating picking both, so I'll say it falls for now)

Top 200 Board Games Overview (#140-131)

2020 #140 2019 #76

Fun game but I guess too cut in dry? To be honest I'm really surprised this game dropped so much on my list from one year to the next. It's a great game that my gaming group loves but my list didn't transfer much of that love in the rankings. Next year it may fall some more spots as new games enter in.

2020 #139

Wow! Still shocked a heavy euro made in on to my list. I'm thinking this one will climb of few more spots the next time I play it too. Bigger shocker!

2020 #138 2019 #67 2018 #71 2017 #64

This game fell out of my Top 100 and I don't think will find its way back in. But I do think it'll hold fast around this area on the next list.

2020 #137 2019 #44

Dang! This game about tea dropped a whopping 93 spots and I can't explain it. It's a beautiful looking game, lots of options to victory too. So what went wrong in 2020? I have no clue. But I will say if it doesn't make it in my Top 100 this year, it'll come close.

2020 #136

I think this game is going to be rising up my list this year. It's such an incredible game based off true events I think with more plays it'll get one step closer to my Top 100

2020 #135 2019 #104 2018 #84 2017 #61 2016 #9

Once a member of my exclusive Top 10, my gateway game can't seem to get back in my Top 100. It came close the year before but now is further away than ever. I'll always love this game, but the only thing saving it from falling even further would be a Zombiegeddon day. If that doesn't happen, this falls yet again on my list.

2020 #134

Solid game from Queen. I think it'll fall a little this year but it's still a good one that'll come out a few times this year I know!

2020 #133

New games added which I think should be good enough to climb a bit higher this year and even have a chance at cracking my Top 100.

2020 #132 2019 #72 2018 #35

This game got a reprint but I'm not interested because the original is good enough for me. Though I don't the game climbing any this year I believe it'll only fall slightly on the next list.

2020 #131 2019 #133

Looking at the rankings for the past two years I think I nailed this one. It wiggled up a little and I think it'll shuffle back down but stay around this area on my new list.

Top 200 Board Games Overview (#150-141)

 2020 #150 2019 #147

This one hardly fell at all last year, though I did predict it would rise on my list earlier that year. I think what happened is that new games eroded it's rise on my list. That saying, I think it's smooth sailing in 2021 as it'll coast a few spots down but not by too much.

2020 #149 2019 #108

Talk about a shocker. Here's another game I can't believe fell so far on my list. For that reason, I'm going to say it shifts back up a few this year.

2020 #148 2019 #145

Easy dice placement game that works as a gateway game for beginners. I'm afraid lack of enough playability will drop this one hard on my list next time around.

2020 #147 2019 #132

This game dropped a few spots mainly due to newer games (lot a lot of games on my list did) But overall, it's a solid game that I think will continue to slide a few more spots but overall be ok.

2020 #146 2019 #112

One of the very few tile placement games I own. Falling 32 spots for that mechanic isn't bad. I think it'll drop a little bit more this year on the list.

2020 #145

I'm interested in how this new game will perform on my list in its 2nd year. I think I'll say this one will climb as it continues to impress me after each play.
2020 #144 2019 #120 2018 #85

This is a good game you can still buy for cheap even though its out of print. And from the looks of things it tends to fall 35 spots each year....so I guess I'll see this game at 180 or so next year.

2020 #143 2019 #114 2018 #57

With my new group loving coops, I'm wondering if this is the lowest this game will go? Let me be as bold as to say it will move up a few spots in 2021.

2020 #142 2019 #118 2018 #79 2017 #59 2016 #20

One of the old games in my collection that sadly won't be seeing the Top 100 ever again. But I'm thinking it's time for it to swim upstream a little at the end of the year.

2020 #141 2019 #103

From just missing the Top 100 one year to not even coming close the next. I don't think this game will be in my Top 150 this year either because I'm not sure how many times I'll get to play it.
