As you know, I've been on a few radio stations lately, promoting "Footloose". However when I got a call from the good people at FM 102, they wanted me for a different reason.
To pull a prank on their morning DJ.
Of course I agreed and plans were drawn up on to how it would go down. Here's how it went:
It was her birthday today so she was on the air talking about that when all of the sudden who should walk RIGHT into their studio but an avid fan..... a fan of Jeni Lane's. (the DJ)
He proceeded to tell her what an awesome women she is and what a BIG fan he is as well. He even starts to mention that he drives by her house every day and is always wanting to stop by and say hello.
At this point her face is aghast and she doesn't know what to think. The fan asks if his buddie can come into the studio too (we're still "live" here folks) before she can say anything, her boyfriend maked it through the door as the fan calmly announces....
"Hi, my name is Matt Wilkins. I am an actor and you've just been punked."
I should have a recording of it by the end of the week. I'll see if I can post it somehow on the blog. Until then, have a great day folks!

As you can already guess it's about the tiger. Did you know that not only is his fur striped, his skin is also!!
Now that I've gotten that out of the way, thanks to everyone who called telling me they heard me on the radio this week. (and here I thought nobody listened)
For those who don't know, I've been bouncing from station to station promoting the new play Footloose. (opening Sept 6 thru the 23rd at Strauss Theater) I'd like to thank my friends at 103 and 106 for letting me share the air waves with them for a while. I had a blast!
Now on to business.
The conclusion of our "nomicon" will be next week. By then I'm hoping to have even funnier stuff for ya'll then. But until that time enjoy the weekend folks!
BONUS FFF: Donald Duck's middle name was "Fauntleroy"... who knew?

Well, if you’re a fan of Harry Potter you’re really going to enjoy this weeks post! And if you’re not a Harry Potter fan you’re STILL going to enjoy this weeks post!
Some of you have heard the story already but for those who haven’t I’ll fill you in. During the opening night of the book release, my partner in crime CJ and I went to Books-A-Million to see what all the hub-bub was about.
These video post, I’ll be bringing to you this week all came from that night. Each one shouldn’t last more than over 2 minutes each and are all hilarious!
I know some of you have been requesting them for weeks so I finally got around to doing it. And starting tomorrow…. Harry-Potter-Nomicon begins!!!

I'm tired of writing.
I just got in from another long day, I'm going to bed, it's been a busy week.
But not busy enough for a quick FFF!!!
Do you know what the channel ESPN stands for?!
Every Sports Possible Network
Wild huh? I thought it'd be a lot cooler than that. Guess that's why they just give you the abbreviation only these days.
OK, goodnight and have a grand weekend!

My, my, what avid fans.
This is a bit of footage I thought had been deleted from my camera by accident. I'm happy to say that I found a little snippit of it for your enjoyment.
Tony my friend, I'm sorry it got cut out. It was really a sweet clip and I'm very sad we didn't get it all. Oh well. Enjoy!

I had a wonderful time and thank everyone up in Idaho for it, but now it's time to get back to business!
My new position starts today as well as my return to the "Footloose" cast. Big day, big day indeed. I do hope everyone made it thru the week here without me. I will try to get around to those videos this week. I can't promise anything right now but I will be giving it an effort!
As for the strips, those will return as well, I've written several more during my vacation and can't wait to have them posted up here! I'm glad a lot of you loved the last series, I have to admit the idea had me chuckling for weeks.
Ok, I'm off to work. See you all tomorrow.
It's really good to be back!

I'm on vacation in Idaho this week so there will be no posts. Sorry for not telling you all earlier but I wanted it to be a suprise and indeed it has been for quite a few!
I also got a promotion at work too that I'm proud to announce starts the moment I get back from here.
So have a great week folks and we'll see you next week with more fun on the way!

Did you know Telly Savalas and Louis Armstrong both died on their birthdays? How wild is that?! Oh wait... do you even know who Louis Armstrong or Telly Savalas is? Hmmm... forget it.
First off I'd like to apologize for everyone who hasn't received any e-mails from me this week. It's really been a tough week for me. I have to be honest. Life is... busy. But in a good way! I'm working on delivering some very exciting news in the near future but for right now it'll have to wait till the "Monday Morning Me" post.
Let's talk about other things shall we? Life is great, what can I say, it doesn't get any better than this. Things at work are awesome as always. I set up my 360 yesterday but can't figure out how to hook it up to my sound system yet. (something I may work on tomorrow) I put in my NCAA College Football game I just bought for it, watched the tutorial and put it right back in it's box to gather dust.
It's WAY to out of my league. I have NO idea how to play this game because it is so different from anything else I've ever played. I guess my only choice will be to trade it in for a 3rd of it's cost in exchange for some money off Halo 3. Which looks to be the only game I'll be playing it for.
(and all the sudden my 360 is not so special after all)
That was sad I can't deny. But I did hook up the old GameCube and play Mario Kart Double-Dash for the first time. It's a really fun game I just bought and I really like it.
OK. This is turning into an MMM already! I'd better stop while I'm ahead. Hey folks, have an awesome weekend.
